Or, I've noticed, Morrowind fans that don't seem to realize that the Stormcloaks aren't really that different from, and very arguably less extreme than, factions like the Ashlanders. The tribes who named you Nerevarine so you could defeat Dagoth Ur explicitly want all foreigners driven out of Morrowind, as does pretty much every Great House that isn't Hlaalu. It's pretty obvious that people's real life politics seep into these discussions sometimes, and thus racism is funny when it's fantasy elves, but not so funny when it's fantasy white people.

I do separate personal politics from the character I'm playing, ya know like a normal player. If you really want to make the character about you, that's fine but I have gotta think "would my character do/support this?" Most of the hate specifically the Stormcloaks get, is usually from Redditors or people who take everything way too seriously. There was a Reddit thread about Swtor and if you would live in the Empire of Republic. Only a few people said Empire and everyone casually shit on them saying you're just gonna be a slave or slavery bad, pretty much ignoring that Coursant fucking exists. Overall, don't be a fag and just play pretend in a videogame.

Which is funny, because this is a role-playing series, but some people just want to play self-inserts that always make the same decisions (or hot girls). That's fine, but don't begrudge people who role-play and join factions you don't like.

Yeah, I don't really like the *sexy* mods you can download. The closest thing to a sex mod I have is that immersive wench one where all it gives you is a black screen and a power boost saying you fucked this type of wench for it. Right now I'm not using mods because I want all the Achievements and I've almost done everything on a level 60 character.

I'm a live and let live kind of guy when it comes to mods. The only ones I just completely don't understand are the gimmick meme mods like turning dragons into Thomas the Tank Engine and such. It seems like something that would get boring after 15 minutes once the comedy value wears off, and then you remove it.

Depends on the Morrowind fan, Racist Morrowind fans don't consider them racist, because they are not. A favorite comic of mine covers this nicely, but Also the races of Men are racial inferior and should be expunged (same with the mix raced mongrols and cats tbh).
