Pro athletes wind up broke all the time for this very reason. When you are making a fuck ton a year it becomes really easy to get in to a lifestyle that is completely unsustainable should you ever stop earning a fuck ton a year

Are the Hololive birthdays based on the actual talent's birthday or a day given by Cover? Would seem weird to celebrate an arbitrary fake birthday.

Yeah, I would also expect the same. I don't recall if Ame ever played any sort of Fromsoft game now. Could be quite the entertainment for us though!

Ill give you 2 answers for your question:

Short Answer: They have fake birthdays

Long Answer: The birthdays they have assigned to their characters that they have usually correspond to a date of importance to said character. For instance I know Gura's birthday is the same day the JAWS film released because she a shark and that film is the iconic shark film now. Plus it is also one bit less of information people would need to line up a doxx, if they have their actual birthdays as the characters, it's another piece of the puzzle solved for anyone looking into them now.
