There was actually a moment where he found a magnet in-game and he was SUPER excited about it but I don't have an autism card Twitch account so I don't think I could have clipped it.

As for how people can get through it, I can say that for me personally it was a mix of my being at work so the schadenfreude of watching his stream to kill dead time between work duties was what made it tolerable. Morbid fascination and all that. I don't think I could watch a regular stream of his without the added potential pay out of him sperging out during an event.

A bit off-topic here but, I'd like to point out something regarding the $5 goal of playing blindfolded, and if it was just Adumb shitting out ideas for donations. It shouldn't come as much of a surprise, but actually, playing difficult games blindfolded has an incredibly niche but very talented userbase. I reckon most "normal" people hear of that they think "why would you even want to do that?"

The most famous example I can think of is playing Mike Tyson's Punch-Out (on the NES) blindfolded which is documented really nicely in this video. Yeah, I know, 40 minutes...trust me, it's worth the watch. There's a whole world to blindplays.

In order for blind plays to be entertaining (and they are), you have to devote hundreds or thousands of hours playing the game on a whole new level. You have to train your ears to be able to hear very subtle triggers, you have to memorize time pulses down to milliseconds...basically, you have to be a god at both the game and your own senses. It's probably the exact same way how with blind people, their other senses are heightened to superhuman levels.

Of course, if you're just utterly bored or tossing back a few drinks and think to yourself, "hey i gotsa fun idea!" and you blindfold yourself, you're just going to look stupid, it's not funny, it's not interesting, everyone just wants it to be over. It won't matter if it's your absolute favorite game you've played 1,000 times, you're just going to look dumb.

This is the only speedrun I have ever watched, a blindfold run of Symphony of the Night, and god damn if it's not kino. Chibi on the otherhand is just wasting time, sitting there like a stupid retard giggling to himself "where the hell even am i lololo xD" Some speedrun.

I'd really like to see if theres research in how being always online leads to some sort of disfunction of the personality/ego.

I agree- I've seen some blindfolded Mario runs (most mainline games) and the level of memorization of gaps and enemy placement to very effortlessly throw one's self through the levels and boss fights is something to be applauded. It absolutely takes time and dedication.
