Snowflake shoe0nhead / June Lapine / June La Porta & Armoured Skeptic / Gregory "Greg" Fluhrer - A poor man's Boxxy: rejected by Vaush, disowned by /pol/ for burning coal, sleeps in a dog's bed surrounded by trash, and her ex-boyfriend.

A part of me hopes this isn't a larp and June is genuinely settling down and slowly accepting her place in life. :)
Another part hopes she has a crushing breakup and relapses so hard she goes full leftoid fedora and provides entertainment at her expense forever. :unholy:

She's gonna stop once she realised being religious is more than posing with modest clothes online and saying that you want to be dominated by a man.

Say, let's imagine this goes somewhere and the poor sap wants to marry her. First, I doubt she's confirmed (you need to be confirmed to be married by the Catholic church), so she needs to and that's about a year of catechism. And then, marriage also needs its own catechism or preparation. You actually imagine Shoe being part of that? That's a lot of commitment even before your own commitment to your marriage starts.

IDK, she's full wop, and wops are around the only 3-4 ethnicities that still value Catholicism (alongside beaners and Spaniards). There's a chance she has her sacraments in check.
Also, speaking from experience, the Catholic church is more than willing to bend the rules and skip the pre-requisite rites if you provide, let's call em donations, or have/know someone with clout in the congregation of the church you wish to hold your wedding in.

Lastly, June's so devoid of actual beliefs there's always a possibility she gets brainwashed into being whatever that guy's warped sense of a christcuck tradwife is. What does June truly believe in? Are any of her beliefs stronger than her need for a man to nurture, feed, coddle, and clothe her?

Yeah, well, there's rules about apostates and other undesirables and Communion but I have seen a bishop so used to giving non-Catholics Communion that he had a boilerplate set of instructions he'd give in place of the boilerplate blessing if the person looked lost.

(And if a bishop is handling Communion you know he's there because someone important is involved. There's a lot of rules they'll conveniently forget if the person organizing the shindig is important enough.)

It's not an obligation. Giving up something for Lent was definitely something I didn't do as a kid, and we were raised Catholic and went to a Catholic school.
Dunno, my dad who tried to raise me Catholic made me do it as a kid (and definitely treated it as an obligation) but I guess maybe it depends on how strictly religious your parents are. I don't imagine Shoe's parents fell into that category.

>be shoe
>have weird daddy-dom fetish/issues
>find out the Bible says a man should be above/dominate of women
>get excited and go find full-faced Christian beta
>get disappointed when being above women means telling them not to be degenerate and do dumb shit

So will she try to subvert him, turn him into a sexual degenerate like the ogre was, or leave him and try to get Vaush's pedo D?
To answer your questions, it depends on how much of a beta he his. She could say "let's get LEGALLY married now and take care of the Church stuff later! XD <3 UWU" and see if he's fine with it. If Shoe was really into Christianity, she'd drop the socialist stuff, so she is not going to commit to any of that stuff. This also shows what a faggot the guy is that he is trying to "convert" her or whatever but is fine with his "GF" promoting communism.

POZ is stronger than wop blood. AT BEST, she becomes one of those crazy lefty Christians that uses Jesus to push Marxism. "You know, Jesus was kind of a socialist too!" She may be weak minded, but the poz has taken root long ago and she doesn't want crazy left wingers yelling at her on Twitter. She doesn't care when right-wingers do, only when it's the left.
I hope Shoe finds God. That would be epic. I've always liked her. Sure, she's a degenerate leftist. But at least she has more or less always been somewhat reasonable and willing to engage with others.
>publicly ends her internet "friendship" with Lauren Southern after she started to get somewhat more racial about what's happening to White countries
>a center-right tranny is too far right for her
>gone back on all the shit she supported back in the GG days
>doesn't even do anything with "classical liberals" like Sargon
>turns a blind eye to all the fucked up shit from the left and nitpicks the "right"
>got BTFO'd by Mutt Venti of all people
Are you talking about a different "Shoe"?

If only she hadn't given up Tw@t for Lent. She'd have seen Vaush call for his "women shutting the fuck up" challenge and girl-COOMed all over herself.

Lot of people are culturally Catholic vs. actually Catholic though.

t. PL another Latino who was formerly Catholic, now coming back to Catholicism but wishing it was in pre Vatican II era.

I know a lot of those, who, for some reason, are mostly men. IT's people who got baptized and confirmed, but never practised and even became atheists or agnostics, but because the family still believes, they join out of respect, at least during formal celebrations. My brother in law is like this, but when his kids were born, he went to catechism with his wife for their baptism and he had no problem with it.

Is Shoe like this, though? Honestly, I doubt it. I doubt anything she does she does it because of her own convictions or beliefs, something I also doubt she has. She's empty, she believes whatever she needs to believe to become whatever she needs to become. She's too superficial to have thoughts of her own.

At this moment, with her chances to find a husband and have a family going down, she needs to believe that she can become Catholic so this man will take care of her and will support her while she keeps doing what she likes to do: nothing at all except being perpetually online. Can she be honest about these beliefs? Sure, anybody can redeem themselves, but I personally doubt that's the case for her. Her mind is too simple to hold any real conviction, imo.

As a practicing Catholic who knows a decent amount about my faith, these are the "rules" for Lent:

  1. The days of fast and abstinence are Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
  2. All other Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence (no meat).
  3. The obligation of fast applies only to Catholics between the ages of 18 and 59. Fasting in the Catholic tradition means to limit oneself to one full meal and two smaller meals which together are not equal to a full meal, so as to experience hunger.
  4. The obligation of abstinence applies to all Catholics who have reached the age of 14.

"Giving something up" is a personal choice and many Catholics use Lent as a time to practice forgoing earthy attachments (doesn't have to be a vice necessarily) or building up good habits. It can be anything really, from not watching TV to giving up coffee. Typically Sundays are a day off from this. It also doesn't have to be a negation, it can be positive, e.g., saying a Rosary every day or going to daily mass.

18? That's interesting. What's the reason behind that? Is that only in the United States? I know that 18 is considered adulthood here, but it is not in Italy, I don't think. And I know France is very Catholic and their adulthood is like 14.

I believe it has to do with being physically grown enough to be medically able to fast. Children under 18 need food more since they are still growing, etc. Don’t know the exact physiological reasons tbh but that’s the idea.

So it is 18, even in Europe?

As far as I can tell, yes. I can’t find any sources to say otherwise. There are probably some slight regional differences here and there but the rules are supposed to be the same worldwide— the word “Catholic” literally meaning “universal.”

Happy to answer any other questions but unless it’s related to June just shoot me a message so the thread doesn’t get derailed too hard.

Can we start a poll? All the cool lolcow threads have polls.

Will June marry this Catholic lawyer and get off the internet? Or will she degrade him so much that he cucks her with another woman and then leaves her for that woman?
She'll break her Lent no twitter posting and break off her connection with the Catholic lawyer on ala break off with Gmasterred is what a cynical me would think.
Otherwise, yeah, I feel like June will get this poor bastard.
