"Fight our wars for us!"

"We will mortar them from the roofs of crowded hospitals.
We will shoot at them from the windows of elementary schools.
We will hide our ammo dumps in apartments, and suburbs, and in our refugee evacuation points.
We will hide behind civilians till the end.

We shall never surrender!"

"Most of Russian nukes are there in silos, on the ground in more or less pre-determined areas"
"RPKSNs parked in Barentz sea bases (it's too expensive and dangerous to keep them at sea and they can't get anywhere close to US coast anyway)"
"Bases of strategic bombers are also known"

these are all baseless assumptions. nobody can assert with confidence that all russian nuke silo locations, nuke sub routes and strat bomber air bases are known and accounted for.

claiming that america could first strike russia so effectively that retaliation would be impossible is insane, and claiming that american countermeasures will reliably protect against retaliation is just wishful thinking.
Hell even if you're 99% certain you could do all that, AND that the countermeasures would work, would you really wanna gamble on that 1%? The stakes are pretty fucking high.

What the fuck are you babbling about?

This proposal is more retarded and braindead than what Mcarthur had proposed in the Korean war.
During Korean war the US was the only country with enough nukes and delivery capabilities to use them effectively, McArthur wasn't wrong in his planning.
How the fuck are people not getting this. No fly zone = escalation to the point of nuclear war.

If you allow Ukrainians to exist in the West then it allows for easy pipelines between NATO countries and Ukraine. Right now there's a lot of drama because Russia bombed the fuck out of the bases closest to Poland so it'd heavily disrupt the pipeline of supplies between Poland and Ukraine, and between Western Ukraine and Kiev.

Now if Poland wants to drive supplies into Ukraine they have to drive it deeper into Ukraine, making the supply trucks an easy target to get vacuum bombed to pieces. I'm going to wager that very soon Poland might quietly cut off supplies and with no supplies you have an internal crisis in Ukraine.
Escalation is beneficial for NATO, because Putin's strategy relies on West being dovish to the very end. Hawkish moves are not accounted for in his plans (remember when Erdochad shot down Su-24 and annexed Northern Syria, Putin had to swallow it, he can't deal with hawks)

Silos are visible at the stage of construction and loading the missile (both US and Russia know each other's silos locations), Russian SSBNs can't get outside Barenz Sea without being followed by US subs. During USSR days disarming first strike was impossible, but times have changed. And let me make this clear: NATO-Russia war is inevitable, the question is on whose terms it will be fought.

There has been an incident on Russian state TV. Anyone able to translate the moon runes?

"Stop the war, do not believe propaganda, they are lying to you here".

UPD: This is how other news channels are reporting the incident.

UPD2: The woman with the poster is one Marina Ovsyannikova, Channel One editor. Currently detained and taken to Ostankinsky Internal Affairs Department (i. e. police precinct). She also recorded a video address before the stunt calling for people to go out and protest.

the longer this shit goes on, the less likely it seems NATO actually will get involved with a no-fly zone tbh, barring russians literally doing something against a NATO member (deliberately or accidentally, either would suffice probably).
I could confidently tell you all that if Russia attacked something just within NATO borders by complete accident then NATO would look the other way and view it as an act of God. World War 3 isn't going to happen over a schoolbus of orphaned kids in Poland getting turned into a fine powder thanks to a missile glitch.

Sounds to me like Russians are saying "If any of you faggot farmers pick up a rifle we will gun you down because you are no longer innocent civilians" which tbh is fair given that they are being shot at by said farmers.
Arguably doing this under no uniform would put them in the category of partisans, essentially people illegally waging war. And generally, if you have a legitimate reason for crossing borders with your military, you can just kill these people with impunity.

Russia really isn't in this situation, though. Their invasion is unambiguously unlawful. It is a war of aggression, even if every single accusation they've made to justify it is true.
I fucking love nuclear war.
It has an appeal to it. Everything you've loved, everything you've hated, every feeling you've ever had, every tiny bit of hope you've ever lost, gone. Flash. In an instant.

Biden pushing ahead with the lie that "¡Putler did it, Putler did it!" when talking about gas prices.

If this is what the "adults" are like then I don't want to meet the children, that's for shure.
The average price of a gallon of gasoline here in eaglemeat burgerland has increased over 100% from what it was on January 20, 2021.

About 5% of that has happened since Putler started his Putlering.

Look, man, if you're a troll or a bait poster then good job for baiting us but if you are serious then all of what you're saying is retarded and insane, okay?

This is not a can of worms you want to open.

He was in Afghanistan at the time. In 2001.

He didn't settle down in Pakistan until later. He was moving around in between those times as well.

Afghanistan didn't have fuck all to do with poppys or mineral rights or oil. Those were all bonuses.
So, the LA Times made this up?

And, of course Encyclopedia Brittanica was also lying, lol.

So, yeah. They went after Afghanistan for payback on the poppy shoah and hid it under 9/11 knowing he was in Pakistan.

"That comes from the Fed"
Ah our government says that our government isn't to blame for economic hardship. That checks out.

I'm too old to get drafted (30), have ADHD and Aspergers (disqualifiers?), and a knee that's on the fritz. I have no desire to be killed or maimed for Globochomo's money-laundering hub that resembles a country.

And yet, a small part of me feels obligated to join up (if the US formally enters the fray). Just for the chance to get some adrenaline. To be a part of history. To have something to tell the grandkids.

I remember a pajeet anon on 4chan once said he was confused by the term "vidya" when he first encountered it, since Vidya is also the name of a Hindu deity.
And that deity's name? Albert Einstein. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)
That means they won!

Wordcels? Is vim+latex a requirement to fight for the Ukies?
I thought this was an EMACS forum?

Are you retarded? Clearly you can read so you're not illiterate.

Did I say anywhere that the Taliban didn't try to stop poppy production in Afghanistan?

No. I said it had fuck all to do with the U.S. invading them.

I'll say it again, clearer, since you clearly have reading comprehension issues -

The access to mineral rights, oil, and a restart of poppy production were bonuses to the invasion, not the reasoning for it.
