Serious question: as I don't know about Moebius and the military, is that an auto- disqualifying condition? His gait is weird, does he have flat feet? That's specifically disqualifying, due to foot pain when marching with a full pack. Are speech impediments a disqualifier?
I would imagine his lack of being able to chew properly/close his mouth would be a disqualifier, as the army requires teeth or they pay for false teeth or dentures.
Or that his eyes are droopy, how can he possibly shoot straight?
It's been discussed here he doesn't blink, which means he requires eye drops daily, I could see that being a disqualifier.
Of course, his dumbness would be an asset.
"I would have been an officer ranger because I have a degree!"
Iq tests aren't required right?
Even if physically he was able to be a soldier, he's a pipsqueak with an ego and narc problem, not sure narcs do well in the military when they're still working their way up, but all my fam are enlisted and not officers so I don't really know how that works when you come in with a degree or ROTC.
With serious writers at least, when they're writing a novel or a screenplay about the military they, you know, consult with actual military people to make sure their story works.
To no one surprised Russell has No Clue about concentration camps or WW2, yet he wrote a musical screenplay depicting the Jews "happy dancing " for German soldiers lmao
This idea isn't bad...on it's face. A campy dark humor concentration camp comedy- musical? I can see Maybe. Morbid humor for sure. I am a kiwi after all!
Except like everything Russ does, his screenplay sucks and he did zero research on the historical background of his musical. (Or even musicals in general, but I'm very biased on musicals and theater)
I once read this advice column:
Why Won't Anyone Hire Me As Their Visionary?" Tldr "I'm an ideas guy, but I don't know where to start!"
This is probably what Russell thinks he is.
