Summary of Momtax's antics for those unaware of what a piece of shit she was:
- Gave birth to Lowtax (unforgivable)
- Moulded him into the coddled mommy's boy that he was throughout his life (he phoned her every day well into his 40's)
- Bailed Lowtax out every time he got in legal or financial trouble (owing taxes, his first divorce)
- Was aware, and presumably endorsed, LowTax's refusal to complete Ashli's immigration paperwork, threatening her with deportation if she ever stood up to her worthless son.
- After the first DV incident involving Ashli (when Ashli was arrested rather than LowT, though it sounds like self-defence to me) she handed her daughter-in-law over to ICE. She then, at LowT's request, somehow sprung her from ICE custody before she could be deported - apparently Ashli spent a month in immigration detention away from her young daughter. The message this was supposed to send to Ashli was clear - I could have you arrested, imprisoned, your child taken away from you and deported if you complain too hard about my son beating you up and cheating on you.
- After Ashli fled to the shelter, she tracked the first shelter down and tried to have Ashli arrested by ICE, except this time there were legal barriers in place to prevent abusers from doing what LowTax and MomTax did.
- This forced Ashli to flee to a second shelter, which Momtax tried to locate without success, to try to get Ashli deported. The legal protection from Momtax's stalking only applied in the shelter, forcing Ashli and a 6-year-old girl to live in a single room with shared bathroom facilities for over a year with no income and literally unable to leave the building.
- Tried to have Ashli's GoFundMe taken down, sent abusive messages to people who shared the link on Social Media.
- Fought tooth and nail to stop Ashli (and therefore her grand-daughter) getting anything from the divorce. Also told LolTax to stop sending abusive messages to Ashli (who was still in the shelter) because it would harm his case (clearly without success).
- The day LowT died she sent a barrage of abusive messages to Ashli blaming her for Richard's suicide.
- Continued to fight tooth and nail to prevent Ashli getting any of LowT's estate even after his death, trying to secure his inheritance (about $90,000 in cash held in escrow by restraining order) for herself at the expense of her own grand-daughter.
So yeah, no tears shed here. She was Richard's enabler-in-chief and the sheer level of vindictiveness she showed would do her failson proud.
She's in heaven now, locking the angels passports away. <3
I do, but perhaps "evil" is a too strong a word. More like fuckheads, that's more like it. The first apartment I had was a dump with paint so cheap any moisture permanently stained it. Something broke every single month. Poo water coming up through the kitchen sink, 3 different leaks in the kitchen caused by the neighbor's water heater, a pool that was never operable the 2 years i was there, and the finale, a broken airconditioner that they dicked around with so long they told me, "it's september now, so we aren't gonna fix it until next summer." I should have withheld rent for that one. When I asked for a discount on rent, they gave me some line about fair housing laws. No doubt total bull.I don't know who thinks these are the majority of landlords though.
Because no they aren't and nobody who knew any reasonable cross-section of the cop population would say anything that stupid.
I second this. If she had any inheritence at all, its possible that he would have enough capital to stay afloat until he could figure something else out. Better to pill yourself to oblivion then try to problem solve, oh well. It's not strange at all for people who have been living with cancer a long time to be seemingly be trucking on just fine and then suddenly sharply decline, especially if their doctors have reached the point of "you really weren't supposed to still be here, keep up your meds and monitoring and cross your fingers." While it is very plausible that the grief of her son's death kicked off enough stress and shock that her body could no longer sustain itself against the disease, I'm finding it much much funnier to imagine that her passing was entirely the cancer's fault and that if Low-T had just kept a gun out of his mouth for not even six goddamn months, he'd have inherited from mommy.
Though he would have been told to use his grim windfall to pay Maplewife and the Maplespawn, which probably would have still ultimately resulted in him pitching a bitchfit and dying over it.
What kind of woman turns a blind eye to domestic abuse, was dadtax domestic abuse and alcoholic too?Incidentally it isn't just the bailing Lowtax thing out that is an issue. You're going to love even a failson and try to help them. It's that she actively encouraged and even personally assisted in his abuse. It's one thing to bail your failson out of jail when he got drunk and beat up his wife.
I think it's uniquely horrifying when a woman ignores another woman's being victimized. But women can be abusive, too, and in Momtax's case she was a real enabler of Lowtax's garbage. Seems she was some kind of narcissist herself, she was more worried about her daughter-in-law bringing embarrassment to her for outing her son as a deadbeat shit, than she even was worried about the wellbeing of her grandchild. What kind of woman turns a blind eye to domestic abuse, was dadtax domestic abuse and alcoholic too?
That being said, momtax is soon forgotten and everyone will be sucking off dadtax for inheritance shekels, I can't imagine many tears shed for a sociopath.I think it's uniquely horrifying when a woman ignores another woman's being victimized. He had the money from the sale of SA and he blew it to keep Ashlii from getting any of it. He would have done the same with an inheritance.I second this. Men ignore the domestic abuse of men all the time. Why wouldn't women? I've always found the shock of a woman ignoring another woman's abuse being extra bad strange. Honestly, women are often more likely to celebrate the abuse of a woman than any man is.I think it's uniquely horrifying when a woman ignores another woman's being victimized. Get ready for your $53,000 Tax bill…my grandpa's from the silent generation and i get $50k from his greenwich village apartment once the paperwork clears and it's sold
Go to the house. Take pics. Pretend you are a reporter for the Jerusalem Post,Momtax lived in Cedar Creek from the postings in the obituary. Very, very nice subdivision(live in KC area).
Or buy townhouses….It can fuck you over or make you financially independent in 10-20 years. The problem is that you need a lot of money to get started, and this high barrier to entry keeps the normies out, but the market is only getting tighter, especially as Cali-style "Luxury Apartments" take over the mid-range that only large Investment firms can afford to purchase.
tl;dr: The correct way to do it is buy in with other people and spread the risk with a large number of properties. Going solo, especially with a low number of properties, is a ticket to sad, sad times if one of them goes belly up or vacant on you. This is also risky because you need to make sure no one is skimming or trying to do straight up fraud.
Depending on where you buy, historically property values have outpaced inflation (or more accurately, real estate has been used to subtly absorb inflation) or even the prime rate so even if you go into eye watering debt your equity should keep you afloat, but you'll have put in a lot of time and have not much to show for it.
The other problem with the advice is that the videos always show people who have like 20 houses and 10 apartment buildings chilling on the beach because they have enough built in pricing to farm everything out to a management company. Until you're making enough to give some profit to someone else, you need to do that. That usually means working two jobs for 5 years or more - your normal one and then the one where you deal with your tenants slowly destroying your house.

Dadtax probably had a decent job. I'm sure there's a dox somewhere early on in the thread that states where he worked. Momtax probably got tired of being around her husband 24/7 after he retired so she became a lawyer as a reason to get out of the house and avoid getting a divorce.Wait. Carole only became a lawyer at age 60?
where did this Italian American Jew get all of her shekels? She didn’t become wealthy in the last 13 years by being a subburban Dental implant lawyer.
It only took her 60 years to figure out that being a lawyer allows you to be the most toxic shithead possible. lawyers are terrible people.Dadtax probably had a decent job. Yeah, and it's corroborated in his own posts showing how often he called her and she would come over a lot to do basic chores like putting trash in trash cans, since she only had leukemia while his spine was crumbling to dust so he couldn't do that. That does remind me, didn't the conversation with Logan Day have a mention that Lowtax and his mom were "thick as thieves" according to the titular crazy woman?
