She doesn't hate idols. She applied to be one and got in. She USED to resent them, but has since discovered she was "being a jealous ho", Kiara was an actual idol ffs and they are good friends so it would be pretty weird for her to hate idols still.
Her being an outsider is definitely true, she came out the gate swinging quite literally. Swearing and collabing with penis-havers. Kiara had to tentatively ask recently (1 and a half years in) if KFP would be OK with it, calli just does. Deadbeats aren't called cuck-beats now for nothing. The majority advocate her streaming/collabing with guys if she wants and over 20K turned up to her first DD stream, even though everyone already knew what she looks like and follows her on DD.
If you listen to the DD stream she talks about how being calli is in fact incredibly draining sometimes, so she's definitely not being completely herself and playing a character, it just happens to be VERY close to her normal self through some filters, as opposed to acting a whole other character. I'd say that's pretty normal to be honest, many holo members have a very thin keyfabe.
She doesn't hate that hololive made her big, she's way past that, she is now "suffering from success" because she's got everything she's ever wanted before 30 years old and is still fucking depressed. Turns out being famous and successful doesn't fix underlying issues you may have about yourself
