Of all the raison d'être that one might have for starting a YouTube channel, proving to a small corner of the Internet that you are a better person than Ethan Ralph must rank as among the most bizarre. They say that there is nothing new under the sun, and also that lightning is smart enough to never strike the same place twice and risk arrest by the weather police. That said, I think that Vickers may have proven himself the exception to these rules by fathering an entirely new type of content; one that is even dumber than his daughter.

The similarities between the two men is too on-point to be a coincidence. It got me thinking: What if, in the very near future, when low-grade time travel technology, of the kind depicted in the film Looper, is a reality, Ethan Ralph has become such a burden on Las Vegas high society that a decision is made to send an assassin back to 2020 to suicide him 'Clinton style'. Unfortunately, Terminator technology has not kept pace with advances in time travel. There is no unstoppable robot killing machine that can be dispatched to do the job. Then some casino mop-pusher, called Greer, has a moment of inspiration: Why don't we send Ethan Ralph back in time to assassinate his younger self? Even if he fails, we won't have to put up with him in our time period anymore.

So Vickers/Future Ralph is bundled into a time machine, along with his family. In the our present day, Current Year Ralph, acting on some degenerate genetic imperative, impregnates his own future daughter - an act of self-felting that makes Vickers/Future Ralph hate him even more. What ensues from there-on is a no-holds-barred Ralph War, which is like the Marvel Multiverse, but with more revenge porn and thumbs going up arses than you see in the average Spider Man film. I wouldn't be surprised if Ralph's assailants in Portugal were a gang of Ralphs, bused-in from nearby parallel dimensions.

I started writing this post as a joke, however, the more that I think about, the more I believe that this is what is actually happening.

I was just totally lost, I was half-watching the stream while getting ready for work and I was like "holy fuck this guy does a great ethan ralph". Figured it was some satirist. After work rewatched the end of the stream and found out it was vickers the second time around and then our dear feeder went on to posit that faith fucked ralph because daddy issues and well, yeah I'm sold on that since they're literal clones.

It was a bit of uncanny valley where I wasn't sure if it was someone making a joke in a Ralph cosplay, if it was a young Ralph, or something else. If you told me it was some kind of fucked up Ralph deep fake I would have probably believed you.

I understand perfectly what you mean, but isn't reality a bit more blurry? Like, aren't news and opinion pieces the propaganda arm of economic interests? For a topical example, Russia being locked out from world economy. Since Null talked about alternative DNS servers I want to take a minute to shill dnscrypt-proxy and OpenWRT.

dnscrypt-proxy is a program that makes encrypted DNS connections to a randomly selected list of DNS servers (if you select for no-log no-filter no-hijack servers the list is about 100 entries). The program selects a server at random and caches the results locally. It's a bit of a pain to set up, especially if you use a laptop and have to use those Terms and Condition portals at coffee shops, but if you really want redundancy in the face of a DNS attack it's the best way to go.

OpenWRT is Linux firmware for routers. With it you can connect your entire home network to a VPN or to dnscrypt-proxy, which means you only have to set up that stuff for one system, and everything connected to your router will route traffic through a VPN and through encrypted DNS without any setup.

Seeing as it was put up as a Happening:
Should Null consider doing a segment on German lolcow Dragonlord, I would suggest postponing it for another week, as by the MATI stream on the 25th, there is likely to be a judgement on his appeal, and perhaps even an immediate jailing, though that is not certain. It could take another week (a 2nd trial day, if necessary, is set for the 30th iirc), but I don't think there is enough new material to go over by the state or defense for 2 trial days and even the initial trial was done in a single day - far swifter than expected.

Should he go to prison immediately, which the community is split on - could be, could not be - that would undoubtedly mark the end of what is called the "Dragon Game" and it'd be a good time to do a proper segment on him - heck, were it not for the need of constant subtitling of his material, which isn't great for an audio podcast format, he'd certainly be person stream worthy.

(Frankly, seeing as there hasn't been any decent videos on him in English besides Dankula, I've started gathering material and constructing a script for an English documentary about his "rise and fall", once it's all over and done with. It's certainly about time someone does a full length thing on him for international audiences and once he's in jail, it seems like a good time to tackle it - without language barriers, this would undoubtedly be a much more popular lolcow)
