Maybe I'm just heartless but I legitimately can't get myself to feel half the sympathy or at least pity that some posters here have shown for our trans princess Oliver, and I genuinely don't mean this in a bad way by the way, I firmly believe that finding the good in people and divining sympathy for them are good things that I never find to be anything short of respectable indicators of good character.

Even ContraPoints is more innovative, creative and textured with his videos... and he uploads twice a year at best

Kat was on YouTube years before Breadtube was conceptualized as a community, and she'll be on YouTube, doing her own thing, long after the foundational Breadtubers flame out. She was lumped into that group not because she made an effort to join but because the fans grew uneasily self conscious about the snow whiteness of their stars. The actual content she produced was less relevant to them than her existence as a name they could drop into recommendation lists of nonwhite Breadtubers for others to watch. I think "choices" could very well include what Kat did publicly: make a fool of herself in Olly's replies.

All I’ve got on Kat is that she used to thirstpost about Olly with a fierceness.

Then he transitioned and Kat went mute. She was one of the very few Breadtubers who, like Contra, declined to offer congratulations. Because Kat is an HSTS who’s been burned many times by GAMPs who chase her only to later come out as trans. And it unsettles Kat to learn that men she saw as men — masculine men who wanted her “as a woman,” whatever that means — have now declared themselves women as well, as if they are and were always the same, as if the “heterosexual” dynamics of their previous encounters were never real, and as if she wasn’t an object of desire to them so much as a prop in their self discovery. Sucks to be used.

She's very online and constantly overshares. That's her thing. The tweets about Vaush and PT are deeply embarrassing but no more so than her tweets about various actors and Kpop idols. The sheer volume of her tweets is insane — or was before she deleted them. Not a day goes by on my Twitter feed without a Kat Blaque thread several dozen tweets long followed by like fifteen threaded quote retweets of replies.

The onlineness of it all doesn't speak well of her mental health and life satisfaction, but it does mean she isn't as cozy with Breadtube as a few tweets, or even a lot of tweets, might suggest. Kat interacts with everyone. Breadtube is obsessed with trans issues, so of course there's some overlap. It's easy to see how Kat's interactions with Breadtube might seem minimal to her — they comprise a small percentage of her total interactions — while striking outside observers as extensive because she tweets so much in general.

Anyway, I think we can agree that Twitter is poison and many regular users are profoundly broken for choosing to consume it. Not that we're speaking from a place of spiritual elevation here on Kiwi Farms.

Real talk: does this mean Vaush will troon out next?

I do wonder if some people in the ultra-woke sphere have a big red 'go trans' emergency button if they are dangerously close to having their progressive credentials permanently ruined or getting canceled to the moon, but its a big commitment if you want to do it even vaguely convincingly. This might apply to Olly but I'm not sure personally, the best example I can think of is Charles Clymer, now Charlotte.
