Alot of apparently important russian planes seem to have decided to turn back and return to muskoow, some having hours in air just returning like that.
Happening soon or nothingburger?
If it were a true happening they'd all be flying to Bashkortostan, the Russians are suspected to have a Cheyenne Mountain Complex equivalent there.

Never even heard of phonetic transcription. Many people outside the US speak their mother tongue and English as second language, which gives them an advantage as they've been wired to deal with foreign lanuages from earlier on.
Aye, I know that Yuros can, that's why I wonder about your average Joe.

Dang, thanks for all the answers.

Can an American or someone with knowledge on their schooling system indulge me in answering a question?
I find it peculiar that a lot of American jewtubers struggle to death with foreign names.
Is phonetic transcription taught in schools and people just forget with time? Or are they taught only in like, linguistics schools?
If these people had an education and a good head on their shoulders, I'm sure they'd be doing more worthwhile things then making video.

Last I heard was that American kids weren’t being taught phonics anymore, like at all. Maybe not all America though, could just be one school district or state or something.

Some people might survive shelling by hiding in a basement that was designated a bomb shelter. Shock. Last news I saw is that the shelter held, but they weren't sure of the numbers yet. There is hope for the people there, but there isn't info on deaths or casualties yet.

As for your other shit, I know Russia has poisoned a lot of people, some failed, they can't all succeed, but Litvenenko fucking died.

Russia's excuse? he poisoned himself to make them look bad.

Poisoned himself. With fucking Polonium. What a fucking joke.

All those faggots were double agents, selling information on the side, compromising the security of their own country. Nobody is going to shed a tear because of their death.

Putin himself said in the interview about the poisonings that he was fine with them after they served their sentences and gone into exile, but also said that traitors deserve death. Make of that what you will.

Snitches get stitches, you know?

You're argument is what? Russia magically knew about an Azov plan to shell a theater days ago, and leaked it to some random shithead on telegram so they would be covered when it finally went down? That shit is absurd on its face, and the fact y'all can't see that is honestly frightening.

Isn’t this basically what we were supposed to believe at the start of this war though? CIA agents were telling us all that Russia was totally planning a false flag as a pretext to invade and went “just trust me bro” when pressed for details.

They are already having to strip garrisons in other parts of Russia to replace depleted formations and are bringing in foreign fighters.

This is the first time I’ve heard Russia is pulling troops from other regions. I don’t doubt it per say but is there a source for this? Would be interesting to know where they’re bringing these soldiers from and how long it’s going to take to deploy.

Kyiv could be the Stalingrad of this war. Russians could take part of the city but be eventually driven out.

I disagree because I don’t expect the Russians to try and take the city directly. I imagine any assaults on Kiev are going to be conducted using those Syrian mercenaries as cannon fodder.

And he jerks off in his room while crying wishing he was as badass as Papa Joe.

But block away boyo, no skin of my back. Don't even try to listen to the other side.
I'm not the blocking type, at all. But you fucking ukraine simps make it pretty hard not too. But I do enjoy listening to how fuckign braindead most of you are.

I go out of my way to try to understand both sides of this shit, but you are more of a clown than that kikelet funny man, fuck off with your stupid room temperature takes. You are in the same little box that that kyiv independent journo is, you are vomiting ukraine propaganda, and you've been doing it for days.

Last post about the sanctions, Barnes said something last night that I hadn't thought about, considered or heard yet. The fact that the rubble is devalued compared to the dollar and every other currency is an external pressure. Internally the rubble hasn't been devalued. Which is why the Russian people haven't seen an increase in goods while the West has. Bolded part is the summary of what Barnes said. It does correspond with second hand info I've heard from people with family in Russia.

For the fake economists on here how does what Barnes say comport with reality? How and why would the rubble being devalued externally impact the cost for internal goods in Russia assuming they are self sufficient in most necessities which is the assumed position for this question.
There has been devaluation of the ruble inside Russia, I've seen pictures of restaurants just adding in 20%+ stickers on the price of dishes just because they expect further devaluation, the Western brands leaving is obviously going to be more near term shock and awe than trade sanctions.

I don't think the planners and schemers behind things understand the concepts of trust and loyalty. The United States has weaponized SWIFT. Every country knows that access to SWIFT actually depends on following international banking rules (which are US-dominated) + submitting your foreign policy to the US Department of State. I guarantee you lots of ranking officials across the world are uncomfortable with this, and this increases the motivation to ignore US attempts to cut Russia off from the global economy and find ways to decrease the amount of economic leverage the USA has with them.

A similar thing applies to our backing of the US government in Kiev. No, we didn't have a formal treaty signed. But we've got senior US Senators on video urging Ukraine to go on the offensive against Russia, promising US support. NATO held a joint military exercise with Ukraine to rehearse offensive operations against Russia last year. And, of course, significant bribes were paid to the Vice President of the United States and other key members of the US government. But when the chips came down...eh, here are some Javelins, I guess.

Nobody's going to trust Washington after this. The only tool the USA has left now is coercion. We're no longer even attempting to manage the dollar responsibly--when even India is doing a better job of currency management than the US, that's humiliating--so it really is just bullying at this point.
I agree with almost every sentiment in this post, also I've noticed that the US government at large doesn't even begin to bother with fair dealings any longer and just tries brute forcing everything. But this is true for almost all "globohomo" infected countries. There was a change in the winds during 2020 (I include Jan 6th as part of this) and I think almost every American citizen perceived it in some way or another, the US government is weak, its a paper tiger; rampaging rioters routed the Minneapolis police with just their fists. Had it been an armed revolt the US government would have been absolutely FUCKED, the Floyd riots were massive and almost every city in the country had a riot that did extreme damage or ended up with police getting overwhelmed for periods of time. Eventually the government is going to attempt its usual brute forcing of an issue and the response is going to be "I choose violence." The longer this stagflation and crime wave persists the more likely people are going to roll the iron dice and get into shootouts with police and national guard units. Even during the Floyd riots the police had extreme issues with every asshole with a gun firing on them as they drove around in convoys, effectively abandoning most cities for the evening.

Fortunately for the government this was just venting off covid lockdown stress, but add in years of stagflation and heavy crime and the citizenry may not just let up at a single weekend worth of rioting. Russia right now is dealing with the horrifying realization that irregular forces can and will savage your army. I fully believe that this era of centralized states has crested and is on the back slide and we're going towards a decline before new methods of governance are erected.

-Arm Civilians.
-Convince Civilians to attack the military while they're searching for hidden soldiers.
-Soldiers kill civilians thinking they're the main character.
- Put Military Units in Civilian Buildings
-Russians say fuck it and bomb the buildings.
- OH MY GOD THEY'RE KILLING CIVILIANS IN UKRAINE
At this point. They're gonna need to restart the propaganda machine if they want to keep up the Evil Russian Soldier storyline. My brain is just refusing to compute the logic behind arming civliians unless you want the enemy to look like a monster for shooting a dude with a molotov.
Just edit out the molotov in post and upload it online.

Phonetics are taught in early childhood over here. After that, you're on your fucking own. Either you learn through listening or you learn through sounding it out. It's a very odd thing here. You can actually tell how a person learned a word.
Simple example:

How do you say Faux?
People who learned it by reading casually: say FOX or FAX.
People who learned it from a Dictionary : Say Fo.
People who learned it through listening Lsay FOE

Something worth keeping an eye on: there's been a couple videos from the past 1-2 days showing South Ossetian and/or Russian troops in the region moving around, as if they're being deployed to Ukraine.

This happens to coincide perfectly with Georgia holding a military exercise with NATO between March 20-25th. What would happen if the Georgians thought they could take the opprotunity to try and settle an old dispute?

And is it because casualties are so high, or because they've covered more ground than their existing force can effectively hold, patrol, and supply?
