So a late question, why is Zelensky so hated? Yeah I heard the spiel of him being a globohomo agent that won the elections unfairly. I can't say how much it is real, but for a globohomo stooge it seems he actually cares about Ukraine and tries to improve the situation as much as he can. Otherwise he'd have evacuated to a new country the moment the invasion started, like we fully expect a lot of countries presidents and elite will do.
Because Authoritarian Russia Stans and Commie wannabees want their empire and a comedian has kicked their ass for two weeks longer than anyone thought they would hold out. It's kinda impressive in this day and age.

I don't know jack about him, but the fact that everyone on Reddit also doesn't know anything about him and is sucking his dick constantly makes him insufferable.

Also he's on some tour of European governments to get them to intervene and make his problems everyone's problems, going so far as to compare the Russian invasion to the fucking holocaust.

Generally speaking, 2nd languages are not required until high school, which is like grades 8 to 12. And even then, most don't care and just ask the Mexican kid for help in Spanish class or copy his homework. Depends on the state though as I went through California, which is ranked bottom of the barrel usually.

Overall, the education system is fucked and thanks to the kung flu pandemic, American parents were redpilled hard on how retarded the public education system is and how much subversive and cancerous the teacher's unions are.
Pretty much this in addition to lack of student work ethic. Most students don't give a shit outside of passing the class, most teachers don't give a shit besides passing the students and getting paid for it. Disregard every Burger valedictorian or straight A student because that just means they did their shit and paid attention.

Public education in America is an absolute mess and the brainwashing that goes on in that hell is only scraping the top of that failure. I'm glad the Rona exposed a lot of it for what it is.
-Arm Civilians.
-Convince Civilians to attack the military while they're searching for hidden soldiers.
-Soldiers kill civilians thinking they're the main character.
- Put Military Units in Civilian Buildings
-Russians say fuck it and bomb the buildings.
- OH MY GOD THEY'RE KILLING CIVILIANS IN UKRAINE
At this point. They're gonna need to restart the propaganda machine if they want to keep up the Evil Russian Soldier storyline. My brain is just refusing to compute the logic behind arming civliians unless you want the enemy to look like a monster for shooting a dude with a molotov.
Just edit out the molotov in post and upload it online.
They don't need to restart the machine. Retards will see armed civilians as civilians, not active participants in combat. These niggers could see armed civvies firing at Russians and scream war crimes and genocide when they get turned into paste by artillery.
Sleepy Joe Brandon will die of a heart attack before the mid-term rolls around
That will be the death of the nation won't it?

1 month later Ukraines firefighters are still at their post. This is actually a critical indicator and one I have been yammering on about since this started.

I said on day 2 that the fact the fire brigades were still responding meant there was no chance of an immediate Ukrainian collapse.

Firefighters are an excellent metric for determing government stability and civil strength in the face of adversity. If they continue to work, even in a scenario (like now) where they risk life and limb and are almost certainly not being paid, then the situation for Russia is grim.

On day 2 this indicated they would have a fight. On day 20, this indicates they didn't bring enough men.

Among the many miscalculations in putins invasion, one of them is he vastly underestimated the man on the other side of that long table.
It's more than that. He misjudged the people. Now he has a government that won't quit fighting him. An army that won't quit fighting. And a populace who won't quit fighting. It's one thing to "win" by conquering the country but it's a whole 'nother one to pacify it. That is going to require troops and training and looooooong deployments for the foreseeable future.

@ everyone sperging about drones and AA fails.

If modern defense systems can track mortar grenades and incoming missiles to shoot down, they can also shoot down drones lol.
There will just be more guns and less rockets. OTOH I don't see why rockets can't shoot down drones, the Israelis do it too (not drones, but small objects).
Unless drones develop some kind of UFO like evasion algorithm, I don't see the need for interceptor drones (although these would be useful against full size jets I think, payload matters).

Edit: I would guess the range of those AA guns need to get a bit larger, the missile range on those drones is apparently 8km
Mind that there's two things going for mortars and missiles - they're usually made with metallic casings, and travel at high speeds.
Metal is highly reflective, high speeds allow you to use Doppler to filter out clutter.
Drones are made with a semi-stealth shape, body uses fiberglass, and they cruise around at around 70 knots.
Drones are most effective against people who don't know they're there. If you're looking for them you can detect them and shoot them down, but you can't spend all day beaming radar emissions or else you also broadcast your position.
- That Russia bombed a civilian airliner over Ukraine (never happened)
It was shot down by a Buk fired from the separatist region, which was later brought to Luhansk and then moved back to Russia.

Jfc what's with everyone going off about adding people to their ignore list? Accept other opinions exist and fucking deal with it. We're here to sperg about war, not each other.
Some people are sooo stupid it's not ignoring an opinion its more like ignoring a screaming 5 year old.
And I'm not here to debate you.
I'm here for the lulz.

Unconfirmed of course but has Russian sources backing it up. Another Russian Senior Officer killed, this time a Colonel who gave his life to add to the VDV's stellar track record in this war.

Speculation time, when does Russia finally say fuck it and blow this dam up?

I know initially they probably wanted Kiev intact, but that isn't happening so it's either get it blowed up destroy all of it's services. What better way than flooding large portions of the city/country?

No idea what the water level behind that dam is, maybe Ukraine already lowered it in anticipation of the invasion.
