So like uh, we defaulting now? Everywhere I look is like a different take on what's happening with the debt. this country is reporting that they paid all the debts either in dollar or Euro from frozen accounts or with ruble or some shit, while everyone else says this country didn't either because euros didnt take the ruble payment, or that they didn't receive any payment at all. Also can't buy dollars no more. we fucked yes no?

You bet your ass that wouldn't remain a secret for too long and the news would spread like wildfire, and since there has to be atleast a few people not wanting nuclear armaggedon inside the kremlin, some of them would refuse, putler can of course just mark em for death but this would just make everyone there realize "this guy is fucking crazy" and then silently put a bullet on his head.
This only applies in the hypotethical case that russia has not been attacked, nato has not stepped in directly, and it's just pudin wanting to launch a nuke because he can. Because if one of the previous events happens, then i bet the kremlin would be tempted into letting the nukes fly.

I can't quote your post directed at me for some reason so I'll just quote this one. Nothing you said contradicted my point, obviously they are trying to cripple Ukraine's military capabilities, what I said was that I don't think they are trying to overthrow the government by destroying the country and leaving it in rubble. They are trying to get the Ukrainians to agree to their demands without doing that by surrounding the big cities and starving them out. Maybe that will change and they will start bombing the shit of Kiev at some point but my point was that's what they've been doing so far. And the airborne offensive was to capture Kiev's airport not Kiev itself.

Yes, they claimed that Saddam Hussein had WMDs. Russia has the biggest stockpile of WMDs on the planet and an invasion of Russia is about all the reason they need to use them.
