Not to mention, everyone has a moment where they wonder what it's like to be a different gender.

Sometimes I'm jealous that I can't pee standing up wherever I like, and the male orgasm seems much easier to achieve so I wouldn't mind that. But I don't want to BE a boy.

I remember in high school and elementary, the boys were always talking about what it would feel like to have tits. God help you if you get a preteen boy unsupervised around some balloons, cause they're likely going under his shirt.

That's no longer considered innocent and normal curiosity. Now it's 100000% proof that you're a trans child

Ironically, its extremely reinforcing of the gender binary so many of these types decry. Not 100% a perfect archetype of the platonic ideal of femininity or masculinity? TIME FOR LIFE ALTERING SURGERY!

I feel like harping on this but you literally cannot "express your gender in any ways that feel true to you" AND be able to declare you have a specific gender known to other people without making social constructs concrete. The troons all do this constantly and one aspect of it is kinda driving me mad lately. You guys above already touched on the one part where gender is both a spectrum and social construct but also hardcoded stereotypes where if you want dress go spinny you're totally a girl. The other is a really simple logical puzzle they've self-constructed that nobody else has to bother with, if you're born with a gender or sex you can't know what another gender or sex is like. You cannot know that you "really feel" like a girl or a boy you can only know how you feel. It's not actually correct to "feel true" to being a girl just because you were born a girl, you have nothing to compare it to! To assert you're a boy because you "feel wrong" as a girl, which remains a condition you cannot know the truth of, is not correct either even if you're also asserting a strict gender or sex binary condition, which almost none of them will do explicitly.

They want to abstract it all away into just an universal "feeling" all people somehow can know while also making that feeling represent a concrete reality you know and others are obliged to accept.

At some point, because it's the obvious conclusion from the way this logic progresses, they're going to start declaring that women literally do not exist. All people are born sexless and then impose their gender and sex on themselves by what "feels true to you" which literally does nothing to not make those categories meaningless since no others can experience your feelings. We'll just all come up with other words to describe uterus havers or penis havers or prostate havers or whatever else to comfort people who cannot accept nature and insist that reality conform to their wants. They put so much power into their personal identification as part of a group demographic that they neglect empowering themselves as an individual. It's actually fairly caustic as a philosophy or ideology because it's hinged entirely on how you perceive the very thoughts of other people.

I love how they act like sexual abuse by coaches isn't already illegal.

I have a compromise for Billy and his handmaidens.

We'll make it just as illegal for trans to join women's sports as it is illegal for coaches to sexually or physically abuse athletes.

Then, EVERYONE is happy.

I feel like troons whining about troon bullshit would be more sympathetic if they were able to take a broad view and not seem to parasitize other people's issues for their own shit.

For example, "Black Trans Lives Matter."

Hey, let's have a discussion about homophobia in the black community, racism in the white community, the inherent problems with sex work, poverty, homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, and so forth, and how these various issues can come together in a toxic cesspool of marginalization to create a group of people who are exceptionally at-risk. And after unpacking that, maybe we can develop targeted solutions to provide resources to these people to keep them safe. And even though I am a TERF IRL, I don't want these people murdered, I want them alive and happy.

But instead the larger troon community just flogs the "Black Trans" shit for sympathy points, as if a 50-year-old white software engineer in the Bay Area has the same struggles as a 17-year-old homeless pro in Birmingham.

Like it's not just "we can't focus on two things at once," it's "any disagreement or questioning of OUR narrative as we provide it is the unacceptable second thing we can't focus on." AKA "I am uncomfortable when we are not about me."

That's what annoys me about the whole social justice movement in general too, they've weaponised being a victim to the point it's a clear zero sum game for limited resources and individual status doesn't matter compared to identity groups as a whole so the people who seem to benefit the most are rich upper/middle class people who already have plenty of support and connections and are taught to say all the right buzzwords and to adopt the most beneficial identities.

Billy is a case in point. He’s a middle class person making a living (sufficient to pay off a mortgage on a substantial house) off a creative pursuit. He doesn’t even work that hard on the creative pursuit. He is very openly trans and the biggest threat he faces is people saying mean things about his very confrontational comics. He’s even weathered being outed as a pedo - can you imagine a cis man getting away with that?

He is privileged. He’s more privileged than most people.
