Never misunderestimate a man with a hat this big

Soviet energy is strong in this man. Must be one well of a time warp over there.
I've asked this before. Define "win".

For Ukraine it is survival as an independent EU-aligned nation. That would be a win. Not sure if they can pull that one off.

For Russia it would be conquering the country without smashing up the infrastructure and no hostile population that hates them and no huge bills for all the destroyed equipment for their army that just proved how shitty and second-rate it was. They definitely have not won here and I don't think they can turn it around with wunderwaffe and strategic brilliance.

There are no winners in this war. Nobody is "winning". Everybody loses. War is not a zero-sum game.
Ukraine sounds about right.

As for Russia, I’d say that their conditions are “get the pro Russia separatist regions out of Ukrainian control”, and “get Ukraine to not be part of NATO because Putin doesn’t want some American to live out (more) Cold War fantasies on his doorstep”. Any Nazis and Azovs taken out are just an added bonus in his opinion.

I’m not sure if regime change is in Putin’s cards, but I’m pretty sure that some intern in the Kremlin is probably confused with all the posts singing his praises for “taking on the rotten woke structure of the West”, “taking on the ‘American Empire’”, and calling for “killing every journalist and fighting Redditor your men can find”.

It's getting pretty close to the point where I'll leave.
I have to put up with your Pro Putin shit and eat it. It is part of the discussion, I don't like it but it is important to hear all sides otherwise its a gay hugbox situation where we jerk each other off. Anyways here is some dying Russians for funzies.

Based RKG-1600 munition strikes again hitting Russian Communications, supply and command vehicles.

I am holding out hope that people get slapped hard in the face with this reality. But I doubt it. I was never a "the media is conspiring" conspiracy nut, but I figured I knew what was going on. Mostly I didn't bother listening, I knew it was BS. Russiagate\Trump years had me wondering what the fuck, are they actually doing this? Covid woke me up, and the BlueFlagForLife War Forever bullshit nailed the coffin shut. Most people on this planet are either brainwashed retards, or full blown retards. There is no grey area.

...now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
If you shun all 'mainstream' media and claim all of it's fake just because you don't trust them as a collective, you're just as brainwashed & retarded. Yes they are corrupt, but there's elements of truth mixed among the propoganda generally, just don't be a shit cunt and believe it / think the opposite is true just because of your views on it.

It's getting pretty close to the point where I'll leave. Prior to this thread, I had a few spammers blocked. Now, I have probably a third of the thread blocked. This is practically unmoderated at this point, and while I don't want reddit mods policing, the amount of times I've seen identical conversations play out between a troll and a different victim is mind-boggling.
Shit is pretty dead tbh, i haven't heard much of any real news in 4-5 days, so it's devolved to shit flinging and shit poasting.

It's not about hearing Pro-anything shit, it's about going off an irrelevant tangents and constantly baiting with retard takes. Such as talking about what form of government China has.

Since the war is going so slowly, let me introduce you to one of the silliest things the Russians are claiming to try to field. Meet SOTNIK. a combat suit Russia claims can stop a .50 BMG, how it's going to stop one without turning the wearers insides into liquid mush the world will never know.

I can't wait till the Russians field their metal suit.

The Tin Man fears the Gypsy with a hacksaw and a welder.

The question is, will the gypsies hose out the suit when they sell it for scrap, or will they just argue that the meat weight should count toward scrap weight?

"It will stop a .50 cal!"
>Gets shot in the face with a Javelin.

And while I'm fucking around looking at Wikipedia data on Russian tanks, Cope Cage is now officially going down in history.
Well duh, who do you think edits wikipedia articles? Check the edit history and you can see they're doing it on purpose which is par for the course on Wikipedia for the past decade.

Added on March 7 by this guy who thinks Nexta is more credible than TheGuardian and so wants to say Azov is actually not a nazi battalion.
The citation used didn't mention "cope cage" and was removed. Later citations were added to keep it in.

All of this to say that this is naturally a genuine and unbiased edit to the Wikipedia article by a neutral party.

Let's be fair you could guess "T-72" and be right about three quarters of the time.
Including when it's a T-90 because that's just a T-72 after it eats some spinach.
It was originally just a renamed T-72 upgrade so that people wouldn't associate it with gulf War. They still wanted export sales lol, though India ended up adopting it and license producing it so I suppose it worked

It'd be a wunderwaffen this war, definitely. But I'm quite interested to see how it holds up in the field regardless.

I suspect it won't be fielded anytime soon, if ever.
Every military funds stupid stuff like this and then it never really goes anywhere except maybe knowledge accrued developing it is applied somewhere.

I don't mean to indicate the Wikipedia is a good source of history, but it is still where normies go to "study" it. More to the point, I'm getting pre-emptively excited for all the history books that are going to be written about this war. Decades from now, people will be studying this war in college or watching videos on whatever follows Youtube, and the legacy of the cope cage--and by extension, the wage cage--will live on. For as long as there are armored warfare enthusiasts, this will be remembered in the same breath as the Maus and that Soviet flying tank in the coveted realm of "what the fuck were they thinking?"

Antonovs will rain down on Kyyv. The doubters will be crushed beneath the tin wings of the flying tanks inshallah.

I do not think that anyone posted this but Democrat with a red tie and known retard Adam Kinzinger is throwing a shitfit about Thermobaric Weapons and is advocating potentially starting a nuclear war over them.

“Russian thermobaric weapons should be destroyed by NATO. These are barbaric. Shame on us for just watching their use. How many more people need to be killed, have their lungs exploded till we overcome our fear? The old generation talking head cold warriors are wrong“

“These are in a league with chemical weapons“

Nobody tell this retard about the extensive usage of Thermobarics the US makes.

Assuming you are talking about the literal nonfunctional prop in the below image I will reiterate once again that it is a literal prop and not an actual project. Some time ago I spoke with a Russian acquaintance of mine that has a hell of a lot more ground to stand on intellectually speaking in regards to subjects like this and he said that the most likely outcome for Sotnik is just Ratnik but with Exoskeletons, lightweight fragsuits and UGV support. Also as I have explained before stopping .50 BMG is easy as it has been done for decades with man wearable armor.

So you like biased Wikipedia edits because college kids in the future will read the edit? The cope cages will only go down in history on wikipedia and imageboards, maybe an enthusiast book about Russian armor later on... maybe.

It's funny, in this case, but also depressing when you see how deliberate edits like that are.
  1. Make biased edit to article with loosely relevant citation
  2. Autist contests it and removes it
  3. Use another account to add it back, slightly different, with another citation.
  4. People sperg about how important the edit it is, further justified by a new, hastily-googled citation
  5. Repeat until autists move onto another Wiki-fight and the edit remains
It's all so tiresome and I think condoning it is bad. Putting it on a wiki page is not "going down in history" by any means.

Another fun thing, assuming Wikipedia is accurate: as of 2021, the Russian Army fielded 550 T-72B3M (the 2016 model) tanks, while the confirmed loss tracker at time of posting counts 60 losses. Granted, those include abandonments that could potentially have been reclaimed, but that's 10% of Russia's supply of their newest tank in actual service, built up over 6 years, gone in 3.5 weeks.

Something something, Putin's just sending in the garbage units.[/ispoiler[
