We can't make that decision for you man. You gotta decide for yourself what's more important: spiting us (admittedly very important) or Meyer pumping out more Perch video reactions because he's concluded that's what's moving books on his channel. And while I do feel thoroughly spited right now I admit, at least this way Richard C. Meyer is now locked into an extremely underperforming campaign as opposed to
Impossible Stars, where he was forced to cancel a different lacklustre floppy campaigned due to low funds and offer something of (arguable) higher backer value with a 100 page comic which then raised $100K.
Comicsgate was quiet for the past couple of days since the JACK show uprising was suppressed with a single tweet, but thankfully Liam showed up with some choice content.
2022/03/19 - [CONQUEST COMICS] - FACTIONS THIS IS INDICTIVE (sic) OF A LARGER PROBLEM
Word has been sent back to Liam from a fan (or more likely concern troll) that Anna has gone on the record on Malin's JDA/Liam efap that she dislikes Liam, the reason being his continual platforming of Warcampaign after they rebelled over her shitty Vampirella cover. Liam expresses a dejected perplexion over this, sending the orange comic creator on a a trip down memory lane to where it all began two years ago, on Live with Liam. Liam, who memorably disavowed Comicsgate when it was decided that Nasser Rabadi was allowed back in, says that he would never be forced by Anna or anyone else 'to go to war' or take sides. And besides, Warcampaign wasn't all that bad Liam argues, stating "most of the people doing this fucking heinous shit in the first place was the Etsies". This is followed by a calumny against the deceased Testefy-HD, as Liam's channel was the only platform that would have him on in Comicsgate in the immediate aftermath of his trolling over Anna's deceased sister, until Liam threw him off for unrelated reasons (larping as a gay Nazi on Liam's channel for several weeks). The point being, Warcampaign (who have always stood up for Liam) has been unfairly associated with these antics by people like Anna, and so has Liam. Liam vows he will never give in to terrorist intimidation.
Liam uses this to build to the crux of his argument; that he wanted unity not division, and that the divide between Comicsgate and the mainstream is in reality futile towards the goal of reform within the (western American) comics medium. That these two factions are just two sides of the same shit coin with him taking the position of an Sargon-style enlightened centrist, but tihis is sidetracked by unsatisfied
Xenotype customer
Urthmind in the chat who writes. "Liam you self destructed. Not canceled." Liam bans Urthmind immediately and says that what he calls "self-destruction" is really Liam using explosions to propel himself away from the burning trash ship that is Comicsgate. In reply, "
Sketch the Rapey" comments in the chat "seems to work for people who aren't crazy" and asks if Liam has skipped his lithum today. After furiously banning the 'Sketch alt', Liam rails that truth doesn't matter to these people, it's all about spin and narrative with this filthy cult mob that ultimately doesn't believe in anything, so he's not going to give them anything regarding this alleged gayop trying to paint him as sexually harassing Sheila Aliens.
Liam next recommends the Ben Reilly Spider-Man run out now in comic book shops; it's really good in his estimation but nobody watching cares about good comics. Good comics take a backseat to spiting a publisher collectively because their fee-fees being hurt because an unrelated creator blocked them five years ago. Big deal says Liam, who will block anyone as this stream has amply shown. And you know else who gets a bum rap? Mark Brooks. And you know who might be getting a deal with Image? Liam. That blacklist against conservatives from being published in comics? Just a story. Why aren't there any public conservatives in the comic industry then if there's no blacklist then? According to Liam it's because "conservatism is a dying ideology" and that all the top earners for the company
just happen to be radical liberal ideologues.
One wonders who's been filling Liam's head with all these uncharacteristic ideas.
Liam rails on for a while against cult thinking when people should be thinking about upward mobility, being held accountable for the sins of Comicsgate and how Mark Brooks was there to acknowledge him when no one else would. That the days of Liam doling out mercy over, so on, routine Liam stuff before tuckering himself out by around the 40 minute mark and fielding questions from the chat. He also weighs in on Cecil's latest move:
What's happening? They're bringing them back, they bringing back in the people that are going to attack and destroy people. They're going to come after you, the little fucking guys. The little guys. They don't, you think it's the big ones they're gonna hurt? Never was. Remember when we used to make 30 to $40,000 on a campaign, wasn't that a fun time? That was the small guys by the way. So, so they're gonna bring in those guys. They're going to weaponize them because they got no moral compunction, they got no moral issues, right? They're going to send them after you guys. To fuck with you, to fuck the campaign, to create things for them to talk about, to turn you into content. They're going to monetize you from within. Right? Just like they've done before, the same old game, you think it's going to change? It's never going to change. You know what's going to change? The targets are going to change.
And if I wore a red mask and was speaking my mind boldly and believed in what I said, I'd be real scared right about now. Because that motherfucker, I shielded for him once and took a huge blow over the Dynamite thing, I aint doing that no more. I aint around. So that guy, he made a big mistake. He went and spoke his fucking heart and his mind and believed in something, and stood up for his friends. Nah. And people were, agreed with him in the chat? That was the one mistake you, the one mistake you should never have made. That was the Liam mistake. You're fucked man. Like, they're coming for you. They're coming for you. And I don't want that to happen but fucking, I've seen this now. Mark my words, the prophecy is in place. This isn't about fucking what everyone says it is, it's about a game.
RagingGoldenEagle steps in to advocate for the Comicsgate position, asking "Why would I give more chances to people who clearly made he clearly hate me when there are plenty of good of stuff out there from people who don't hate me?" Liam backpedals, not wanting to ban RGE and segues into a welltrod bit of rhetoric rant against how Joe Quesada screwed "Stravinsky" (Straczynski) on the handling of Spider-Man 20 years ago and how, while he disagrees with the "pedo shit" Rob Liefeld wrote into Savage Dragon (actually created by Image Comics COO Erik Larsen), Liefeld, says Liam, is considered a master of the medium (
lmao) and people should read what he has to say regarding the industry. Liam may want to brush up on his Image Comics lore and maybe curb the Image COO = pedophile talk before he starts working there. Just a thought.
Liam eventually expounds on the Image deal - he pays them $3200 and they handle everything else, which leads into the orange tyrant to lay out his new philosophy on how to save the comic industry: by joining it and outcompeting the SJWs. People who tell you otherwise aren't interested in winning, only complaining. Would Vinnie Tartamella or Art Thibert or himself write a superman assrape story, Liam asks.
Liam laments how even a "white hat bitch like Micah Curtis" was run off of youtube by the mob, with people in the chat commenting that his former wrangler has sent word that" he's better off now having walked away". Fact: Micah (unlike Liam) has not walked away from CG and is still posting
dumb shit like this on twitter as well as humbly exchanging pleasantries with new Comicsgaters like Shelley Lopresti who don't remember him. No one cares though, which may be for the best.
"Toxic Manbaby" (artist for RGE's
Blade Devil) finds all this praise for Mark Brooks questionable. As he recalls, Mark Brooks took a dozen mainstream comic professionals to dogpile him (for calling Brooks and his mainstream ilk corrupt losers on their way out). Liam says to leave it to him, he'll.
.. deal with the situation and then when it's all said and done, hopefully Brooks and Toxic Manbaby won't be fighting anymore. Clearly Liam feels confident about his newfound connections. From the chat, Marsupial Gamer asks why anyone would give Liam's prognosis to save the comic industry any weight. Liam in rebuttal hits the ban button and offers $1000 for anyone who can provide Liam with Marsupial Gamer's dox.
It's at this point where viewers from Wiggle's emergency streamsnipe of Liam start to trickle in and Liam quickly turns the milk spigot off, going on for the next hour about his plans for
Xenotype 2, how the mainstream comics can be fixed by non-SJWs getting jobs at Marvel and DC and outcompeting the entrenched SJWs and replacing them somehow and banning a lot of mild trolls before the stream winds to a close.
tl;dr
- Alcoholic, bored X-Men cover artist Mark Brooks may be Liam's new wrangler with the departure of Micah Curtis.
- Liam complains about Anna unfairly smearing him and Warcampaign by associating them with the guy he platformed on his show for several weeks.
- Liam still disavows Comicsgate for even tolerating the presence of Nasser.
- Liam says he will be getting published through Image Comics
- Liam also called Erik Larsen, COO of Image Comics,'s comic 'pedophilic' in the same stream so we'll see how that goes.
- Liam now thinks he's an industry insider able to smooth over fights between the mainstream and people he likes in CG thanks to his newfound connections.
