This whole war sucks for Ukrainians, but everyday Russians need a spotlight on them too, a fair amount of them (at minimum) don't support the war, and with Russia cracking down harder on dissent and it's already shit economy about to become a true shithole there's been a mass exodus of Russians leaving before the economy completely collapses in a couple months.

First, it's some sleepy burg where the Russians have no business bombing. You can see that because it is a slavic hovel the bathroom sink was installed so close to the kitchen counter that there is a round cutout on the left cabinet door so that it can open. Have you heard of the Bolsheviks? You know, the guys who did everything in their power to diminish all the war effort of imperial Russia in WW1 and ultimately succeeded? Imperial Russia was a place with secret police and authorities for ethnic cleansing. Likewise, Kazakhs find themselves at the back of the war effort with all factories brought there from the western borders of the union. In the same way, they could harm the Soviet military in order to weaken it and spark a revolution. It didn't happen.

the bolsheviks were unable to do anything at all in tsarist russia itself. oh they tried, it resulted in their guys getting executed or sent to siberia, or going into exile like lenin and trotsky did. they were able to return and start planning their revolution only after the tsar had already abdicated, which he had done because the russian state had began to collapse all around him due to the disastrous war agains the central powers.

the ussr never got to such a state of deterioration, their government remained firmly in control over the state apparatus, except for the places where the axis powers removed them by force.

I know, there is nothing wrong with most of the Russian people, although the ones in organized crime scare me .

Russia may economically go to hell, but the authoritarian nature of being in conflict may keep it from a total collapse

One takeaway from this war, a tank having a decent, semi-modern Active Protection System is an outright requirement at this point if facing a country with decent AT munitions. Russia is still using APS from the 80s or early 90s for their vehicles. There was supposed to be a new one included with the T-14 (also known as the Vaporware Tank), but it's likely a major reason why Russian tank losses have been so staggeringly high, the APS on their tanks are older than the crew that mans them most the time.
