I mean the proshippers are cringy and obsessed with dumb/degenerate/gross shit but, like, they're on the complete correct side of this argument. Freedom of expression is a fundamental human right and nothing about stupid fucking cartoons and fictional stories impacts reality or living, breathing people in any way. Engaging in life ruination and making death threats over fucking cartoon incest skeleton porn is as pathetic and sad as it is loathsome. If you want free speech protected, you need to stand with the most depraved, nasty shit you can, because you protect everything underneath it.

With all that said, most "antis" from what I've seen are literal teenagers with mental health issues who think the internet is real life. That's why they say stupid shit like "just because it isn't real doesn't mean it isn't real!" or whatever. They're kids, and they think the whole world is just what's on their phone. Cartoon porn and badly written slashfic is the biggest thing in the world for them.

I've lost a few, despite both of us being very very anti at the time, somehow my values meant that i was a pedo sympathizer despite them not being so in the slightest, but it turns out a lot of people have had that experience with the person in question. Lolcow waiting to be milked, Homie would ask me if they were problematic and then they'd talk about their 14 year old ex girlfriend who they knew had a piss fetish at one point? The other time it was very sudden, and random, have no idea what they were doing, maybe they became a proshipper over night. This brings me to my next point; i don't care about proship drama anymore. At least vore fags for the most part understand why they get dunked on for being public with their fetishes. They also know that, unless you can handle being called a weirdo, their fetish is something they should keep to themselves.

Pro shippers either do not understand that they can keep their degeneracy to themselves, or they do know that but simply choose not to (then get upset when they’re rightfully ridiculed by Normies).

I’ve also come to notice how loose the definition of “anti” really is. All you have to do is call someone a degenerate or pedophile, then BAM you’re an anti. At this point, I won’t be surprised if they label anti-child trafficking organizations as a bunch of hateful antis.
