Shameless copy and paste of my post in the ContraPoints thread vis-a-vis Contra's "I'm sorry this happened to you, it's a curse" comments to trans princess Oliver:

It is a curse... and a self-inflicted one. No idea if Contra has the self awareness needed to arrive at the latter half of that conclusion, but provided it was in fact Contra who said that to trans princess Oliver (and therefore knows that it's a curse), I can't help but wonder why, then, does he:

-Tell his (young and impressionable) audience that his lifestyle of depravity, self-mutilation and blatant fetishism is a healthy and unquestionable way to live and that all and any critique or skepticism about it is hateful bigotry?

-Denigrate people critical of gender theory ranging from run-of-the-mill conservatives like Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro to feminist women whom he dehumanizes and demonizes in his "Gender Critical" video, depicting them as horned demons, likening them to race realists, and mocking women like Sylvia Plath and Germaine Greer, that is not to mention his participation in the online pile on against JK Rowling literal weeks after complaining about cancel culture?

-Bitch about trans-identified people like Blaire White (in several videos!), Rose of Dawn and Kalvin Garrah (in "Cringe") who seem to somewhat agree that being transgender is a "curse" (..?) of sorts or at least a very undesirable path to take but one which they claim they chose to alleviate gender dysphoria and would otherwise not have taken had a more foolproof method been available? (refer back to Contra's debate with Blaire and "trans genocide").

I'm probably preaching to the choir here but Contra's comments to Oliver are just... baffling. Is it a terminal lack of self awareness? Does he agree with le evühŀ ŧervéš and fāšcißts that it's a shitty life to choose but goes on anyways because it's profitable and also because he's too narcissistic to cede ANY ground to his political and personal opposition whom he wants to desperately prove wrong?

I think I've earned a bunch of autistic and MATI ratings but I legitimately want to hear you guys' input on this.

Maybe seeing trans princess Oliver play a parody of Contra's parody of a woman awoken Contra's inner TERF?

I suppose there's a minor legal issue as changing what sex your passport says isn't the same as legally changing your sex, but I assume if anyone had successfully had a wedding overturned due to that, we'd have heard about it now.

The second person he told was “Alice” the Muslim Troon?!! So he tells two troons straight away - one who he had an ill-advised fling with, and the other who he’s literally never met! (And is a demented POS). It's too sad for me to even make fun of. Dude clearly has NO friends. Did he think two TRAs were going to tell him to tap the brakes on his transition?

And by the way, when Contra was asked about “Abigail’s” coming out in one of the infamous live streams, he said something like “I had inklings” or something to that effect. There wasn’t a sense that he had been told directly by Oliver, but rather had only heard through the grapevine or had his own suspicions. Like I said earlier, I believe Contra over Oliver.

And his delusions of grandeur in the first paragraph, my God! "The whole acting industry” and the "international press" were super worked up over your coming out. Yeah, okay.

I like that the article begins with his preferred glamour shot, then as you scroll down it’s the one where he looks hunchback and he’s looking dementedly at the viewer. It’s like he’s broken the fourth wall and he’s leering at you, challenging you to “misgender” him even while he looks literally like a drooling Quasimodo.

Of course people will have their own opinions and Contra has been pretty balanced for someone having a life crisis which self admittedly is what being trans is- I don’t think it was ever presented otherwise - unlike Olly:

The issue is the amount of referrals exploded over the last decade and the NHS is playing catch up.

The Tavistock clinic had 62 first appointments last month, but recieved 435 referrals and has 10,600 people on the waiting list. They're currently seeing people who were first referred in December 2017. The backlog was obviously exacerbated by covid. At the current rate of progress, someone referred now would need to wait roughly 15 years - but obviously the NHS is addressing this rate of progress. I suppose "26 years at the current rate of progress" is possible he's been referred to a gender clinic up North, if he stayed registered at an old GP?

Ollie does need to get his story straight, though, If he has to wait 26 years to get HRT, why did he have to start wearing jackets in boymode to "disguise his breasts"? If the only way to progress in transition was a gender clinic, how come his psychiatrist wrote a letter about how he was a pretty lady so he could get his Michael Jackson nose? He seems to forget if he's lying about not being able to transition or if he transitioned over two years ago (which is another hallmark of a narcissist).

Until now that is, and when he brings up Contra he makes absolutely sure to do so in a mainstream publication that might be read by millions of people, a lot of whom most likely have no clue about any of these people, he's not doing this on some obscure stream that's easily missed. And when he has the opportunity to do this of course he makes Contra look like she's self hating, petty and bitter (this part might be true tbf) compared to his personal embrace of his glorious true self as a valiant trans woman who will be happy in the skin that he occupies, I almost have to hand it to him in how deliciously brutal that is as a way to get one over on Contra in a way that she's almost certainly furious about, it almost matches how calculating it is. And all the while he maintains plausible deniability by avoiding any specifics beyond them being a non-descript 'trans ex', so Contra can't really do anything or say anything, but anybody who's been following either of these people for a while almost certainly has their mind racing to the most obvious place about this being about Contra and himself.

Millions? Not fucking likely. As you mentioned, Metro is just a shitty free tabloid that gets handed out to people when they enter an Underground station. It's a few dozen pages with ads and large type - human interest, gossip, local London news, sport and a big current affairs story on the front page. It probably has a decent circulation considering the number of commuters, but I doubt more than a few hundred thousand, and of those, only a fraction will do more than glance at Olly's article before checking the football or the horoscope.
The majority of people reading it are either his fans on Twitter or his haters in this thread.

The Guardian (a big left-wing British paper for those who aren't aware) could conceivably print this kind of gushing puff piece about trannies, but I guess even they aren't interested in Olly's drivel.

To me, the most revealing part of the talk with “Paris” was this:

Paris continues saying how he would rather talk about financial problems or work stress, or his relationship with his mom with his therapist, but people assume he wants to talk about being trans 24/7.

Paris goes on to compliment Olly on how well read he is, Olly demurs and giggles insanely. He sounds like Tiny Tim, full stop. Like, I get that it can be embarrassing if someone talks you up and fawns over your intelligence, but Olly’s giggling is totally creepy.

Paris is talking about how much trans visibility has changed in the last many years and then catches himself (since he’s talking to someone who literally “became trans” two months ago, so Paris quickly adds something about how it’s “only recently” that he trooned out. Olly continues giggling manically and says he was “taking notes on the sidelines for a long time.” You can tell he’s uncomfortable with the topic because it’s so clear what a scam he’s running and that this conversation - between someone who was a super flamey kid, who was bullied by his classmates and stern father, and who wore makeup fifteen years ago and clearly has a major problem with gender - and this larping fool who“came out” this year and never presented as anything other than a retarded beta male before, is a total farce and shows how full of shit Olly’s 24/7 “oppression”talk really is.
