Damn just reading through /vt/ and then coming here seeing the exact same flavor of posts is wild. Isn't it literally up to the talents to decide who they collab with inside Hololive? Matsuri/Astel in apex recently, Towa with outsider males, the already mentioned Fubuki and Oga stuff, all of ID, Mori and Bae with some homo's, etc. Noel said forever ago that she CHOOSES not to collab with them, and I'm pretty sure Pekora said the same thing. It's about expectation. Their fanbases pretty much have a promise from them that they aren't going to stream with the penis havers, so their fans can rest assured they definitely are pure or whatever they have to tell themselves after they fap to Canan's streams. But whoever decides to collab with each other will just be up to the talents when an EN male is added.

I do not look forward to EN homos, there is a high chance of them being obnoxious Western male streamers since Cover is specifically looking for people with streaming experience. Myth/Council should be kept separated from any group of wannabe jacksepticeyes. NijiEN males are already annoying enough to listen to in their collabs.
EN playing with JP Stars is fine because their behaviour, culture and approach to collabs is completely different.
Maybe Yagoo will surprise us again and hire normal people instead of anituber e-boys but we will just have to wait and see.

That has not yet happened with the girls, which was the fear before EN debuted might I remind you, so why would the process be different for the guys? If Cover can parse what seems to be good Talent that won't just turn into a Vshojo clone with the girls, there's no reason to assume it will suddenly change with dudes. They hired Senzawa for God's sake. Go and look at those old streams and her meme videos and tell me she's 'hololive seiso material'. I don't blame you for having doubts, because there is always a chance that whoever comes in will be the one, or the group, you hate the most. But that exists regardless of gender, and I'll just add on here at the end that claimimg the JP stars 'behavior, culture, and collab approach are completely different' is laughable. Yes, they are a different group of people, but they are largely just boy versions of the girls with some slight variance. I get the distinct impression you've never actually watched them.

Oh, by the way. I think people should keep tabs on Aruvn. He's a Canadian Utaite that recently became a V-Tuber of some description, and I honestly believe he's probably the best EN male Utaite in terms of raw singing ability.

He's a big Calli fan, but he's also a big admirer of Nijisanji. He has liked tweets pertaining to the NijiEN Audition, but given that the StarsEN audition happened on the same day, it's possible he has applied for both.

If his submission is even half decent I can imagine both companies probably being interested in him.

i realized that most holo EN clippers do not want to clip that related something outside holo, and that alone already divides the fans that though Holomem doesn't want to collabs because of restriction or whatsoever. it's just the member afraid to be paired unwillingly or getting framed poorly by clippers just because they need dem view then they clickbait by hornyposting or something. sometimes i still feel like watching a 1-dimensional character from JP member since the clip coming from clipper mostly like "Noel horny after seeing Shuba do what" with clickbait thumbnail, where there are many small thing clippers don't clip because it's not get good click and horny posting always doing good.

Not to mention when your audience is as autistic as this

Consensus is they were trying very hard to keep their company from becoming a full-on battleground for a China vs West shitshow.

The English fanbase would have not had anywhere near the same self-control as the JP fans and Chinese nationalists are already stupidly sensitive to slights from Americans in particular.

I agree with you, but I also think the nature of the clips represents the attitude of the fanbase that watches them in the first place.

Beyond that, though, Debidebi Debiru is just one of those universally loved and respected V-Tubers. Korone herself was at his 3D debut, and they have slept at each others' homes. He's also collaborated with Flare.

The reason Debidebi works is because:

A) The schizos that think the anime characters are real and possibly fucking one another are safe because Debi is a demon koala thing.
B) The schizos who are sane enough to recognise that there are people behind the characters that could be cucking them are safe because Debi is clearly voiced by a woman, and unicorns are paradoxically fine with being cucked if it's in the name of Yuri.

I don't think people really realise or understand just how beloved Debi is amongst the people in the industry. He's always working really hard, and was even the first member of NijiJP with the initiative to invite the new NijiEN to a competition (Blazing Sails).

In short, Debi is not exactly a controversial enough figure to spark discourse about mixed gender collabs and the perceptions of them and Holomen because he essentially has the V-Tuber equivalent of an N-Word Pass.

Yes it's true. There was even that whole thing about Ina not drawing Coco (with a mutual understanding) so she could not be implicated and maintain her job with Chinese mobile game companies.

HoloMyth were brand new at the time of the incident. Even if most of them were prepared to face the chink spam head-on, it's in Cover's best interests to overrule any collabs and protect the stability of the new branch.

She pretty much killed the juiciest rrat by saying it doesn't involve graduation and most of the consensus fan speculation is that it's gonna be music-related anyway. There's nothing fun in trying to figure shit out when she pretty much reiterated she's staying in Hololive anyway.
