Starting WW3 seems like the dumbest option possible at this point so they might just go for it. DC is way, way more angry and frightened about this thing than they have any right to be and I see they're still telling Biden to float the idea of a chemical WMD attack for no particular reason :tomgirl:

Biden’s presidency is like living through the Bush and Carter years combined.

They're probably talking about tactical nukes

Tactical nuclear weapon -- Wikipedia

Basically, strategic nukes are your city killers, tactical nukes are designed to be used against ground troops, armor, forward bases and things like that. They are "less destructive" because you have your own troops operating on the same battlefield, so you want to be somewhat more accurate in controlling their destructive power than you would be if you are throwing strategic nukes around.

Your guys might die of cancer later, but hopefully after they've done their duty for Mother Russia (I doubt Z-man has any tactical nukes).
I know about those. They're not anything new.

If true then Z-man and his retarded commanders are just digging a bigger hole for his army group in Donbass.

Their supply situation is getting worse (The important Pavlograd-2 train station was destroyed recently and that was used to transport supplies from Western & Central Ukraine to the Donbass & Kharkov oblast)

Luhansk is almost completely conquered and their flanks are getting threatened from the north, south and the Russians are threatening to encircle that entire Ukrainian army group.

The real Nazis attacked everyone, I don't understand why Slavs who would most certainly be on Hitler's side.

no they didn't, the whole "hitler was going to massacre everybody who isn't a blonde blue eyed nordic pureblood" narrative is allied propaganda.
This is very true. You can even seen Hitler attending a furneal of Piłsudski in '34, a Polish Marshal whom he respected very deeply as someone who could stop Bolsheviks aggresion from the East.
In '33 Germany and Poland signed a treaty about mutual non aggresion, and Hitler's propaganda showed Piłsudski as a hero who saved Europe from the Ruskies, and an example to follow.

More likely he hated Hungary /Czechs due to his Austrian upbringing than slavs generally.

Edit:Hitler attending Piłsudski furneal.

The real question here is what counts as an "existential threat" to the kremlin? An attack to russian territory would definitely count as one, but so far in these 2 weeks and a half of conflict i haven't seen anything that would suggest a direct nato/usa attack to the russian motherland.
Economic collapse would count as an existential threat? They've been boosting about how russia needs no foreigns to keep their economy stable.
Burger troops pilling up in nato territories counts as an existential threat?
Russia is paranoid at nato/usa either moving in to step in ukraine, or at the alliance attacking russia directly, or both.
In my own opinion, this is more of russia shaking it's rattle at nato/usa, "don't step in, we will do it". But will the us/nato keep their promise of not stepping in directly over ukraine? who knows.
speaking of which, what would happen for example- if azov or some ukranian paramiliary enters russia. would russia see that as a ukranian invasion?

There's simply no way the current Russian plans had a protracted campaign in mind, from starting the war right when mud season was about to begin, to only sending no more than 200,000 troops (Desert Storm for instance had 750,000 US troops alone, with the entire coalition numbering almost 1 million, these are occupying force numbers, not invasion numbers), to that hilarious article that was auto posted from a Russia owned media outlet that celebrated the capture of Kiev like 3 days after the war began.

Literally the only reason I think Russia captured the ground it did was because Ukraine didn't mobilize until after the invasion began.
This is the only rational take on current events, anything else is just jacking off over a fantasy of Russian military units swarming Ukraine like locusts & reducing the landscape into a wasteland as they go.

Yes your opinion which in the great scheme of things is totally worthless.

I'll explain how an organised military plans a campaign. Thousands upon thousands of man hours mapping out every possible scenario with detailed algos. If A happens we do B but if it doesn't we do C and then move on to D and so on.
The Russians are really good at this stuff, not so good at executing due to how they structure their military organizationally, but in terms of preparing they would absolutely have spent months in planning.
The idea that they just marched into the Ukraine hoping that the enemy would give up without a fight is so fucking retarded I can't.
But that's pretty much what happened last time. And in Georgia before it.

We keep forgetting, The Russian Army is not the Soviet Army. Yes they inherrited the same plans, doctrines, equipment and infrastructures. What they didn't inherit was the Soviet Budget. So the Generals have been filling in with Banana Republic levels of corruption. We are not in the days of "Son the Russkies don't take a shit without a plan". The modern Russian Army has remarkably little actual war experience. Having spent most of the past 20 years as more arms dealers than Army.

Regardless of whether you think the Russians are progressing, stalemated or losing badly, the obvious truth is this is not the war the Russian Leadership were expecting. They may finally be starting to get a workable Plan B in place. But Plan A clearly was not well thought out. They expected the Ukrainian Army to cut and run and the Clown in Chief to hop the first helicopter to Brussels or DC. They sure as shit weren't expecting Ukrainian's behind every tree with anti tank missiles.

Will this last? Probably not. At some point the shear scale of Russian resources will overwelm the defenders. Assuming the mothers of Russia don't start rioting over all the dead sons first.

Might that not be because the container is flipped?

I've been around enough shipping containers that you just don't roll them off the side of a truck. That's not how you off-load them.
And let's assume that was an accident. Oops. Slavs are gonna Slav.
Then why did they take the time to put branches on the top to camouflage it?

As always, when it comes to Western "Defense Analysts" and pro-Ukraine sources, the default is they are wrong or lying until proven otherwise.

My assumption is that it was addressed to Georgia and Japan, which dispute the territories of Russia, and now when the eastern garrisons are sent to the west, they can take a risk and try to take these territories (South Ossetia and the Kuril Islands).

While reassuring, it's not reassuring they felt the need to bring it up.
They’re reminding everyone that they view NATO in Ukraine as an existential threat, which the few remaining intelligent figures in the west have been trying to warn everyone of for decades. And it will continue to fall on deaf ears, unfortunately.

btw, I suspect this new sanctions war with China will baloon into something no one will like.

People said that the Cheeto man would start WW3 but in reality we're much closer to an actual world war with the drooling retard sitting in the white house.
It's like the retard's handlers don't realize that America isn't the factory hub of production anymore. It's harder to bully your enemy when they literally make all your consoomer trash to keep the plebs pacified with "miscellaneous things".
