Well it looks like the stream of ancient shit never ends. At this point I'm waiting to see a T34 roll out.

Ah yes, they have been expecting sanctions. That's why they put 460 billion USD (of their 600) in Federal Reserve, just to be frozenAdidas and McDonalds leaving has very little bearing on the war, Russia is an exporter nation, not an importer, and will weather these sanctions far better than most would expect. Already the Ruble has stopped its free fall against the Euro and is rebounding to a degree. They have been expecting these sanctions since 2014 and have been preparing for them to drop, there has been some curveballs they probably did not expect like the oligarch having their Yachts stolen, but for the most part I suspect Russia is going to weather the sanctions far more effectively than the US would prefer. It is far more likely that this sperg out hurts the US more than Russia as the various other major powers begin to divest from the US led financial system.
They aren't, they ripped China off on millions of dollars and ignored their demands. The US got pwned by the Aghanis and had to leave the country with its tail between its legs after 20’years. Now they’re buddies with China.
that shit isn't coming back. people who weren't alive in the 70s missed out on the total collapse of rail and other heavy industries in america because it wasn't profitable. that plus unions would chimp out and go on strike regularly. offshoring to singapore, malaysia, korea, japan, taiwan, china, etc. killed two birds with one stone: let the dirty chinks do the low margin grunt work of manufacturing and also bust unions here. The USA spent 40 years gutting its manufacturing capability. I really don't think it has the will to reverse any of that.

Wasn’t there a war crimes investigation in Iraq when the Marines were given the new sights in replacement of iron sights because of all the headshots they got? The UN thought they were doing executions instead of just putting hats on the enemy.Isn't it kind of true though that red dots and iron sights are roughly the same thing. As in you can't like magnify either of them, just adjust for elevation and windage and then fire.
If Zelensky was going to just cuck out, he'd have done so by now. As long as Ukraine's getting munitions from the west for the low price of "Fuck Putin and fuck Russia!", and the army is willing to keep fighting, he and his government will stay. If Russia gets off its ass and manages to make real progress towards seizing Kiev, Zelensky and his government might be forced to relocate from Kiev to some other command post in the country(if they haven't done so already), but they'll stay. Zelensky's better able to weather a war of attrition than Putin at the moment, as Putin can't send in conscripts like Zelensky can. If Russia losses reach the point where Putin needs drafted troops to participate, he's going to face some real problems at home.Militarily, all Russia needs to do is keep wrecking shit until Zelensky cucks out. It's a war of attrition now. They don't need to wololo Kiev, or even the east, to win.
True. My thought there is that Russia's airforce and missiles seem to have underperformed thus far. They do their best work at killing infantry when those infantry are in barracks or holding defensive positions, and they don't seem to have been doing much of that. Long range missiles have mostly gone at military infrastructure or command posts with only a few strikes on barracks. Ukraine's anti-air defenses seem to be intact enough that Russia's airforce isn't routinely crushing their positions with air superiority and has at points apparently spent time dropping dumb bombs on cities. It's the Russia artillery that'll be getting the most infantry kills, but the fact that they're mostly stuck shelling cities to do so(given where Ukrainian troops are holding) is pretty restricting for their effectiveness at killing Ukraine infantry. You also need to account for Russia's massive superiority in aircraft, long range missiles, and artillery. They're historically the real killers, not small unit actions
Apparently Russia, with Glabalization, has lost the capacity to produce modern quality chips and circuit boards. Or rather largely never developed it. This will quickly become an issue for things like advanced munitions and rocketry parts.
I thought this was the 21st century? Ivan's going to war with a Chinese cargo motorbike rattlecanned green and armed with stuff from the first Crimea.
As one of the Russian army movies put it, "echo of a war".Well it looks like the stream of ancient shit never ends. At this point I'm waiting to see a T34 roll out.
Which points? Indulge me for a moment and use the quoting option the forum graciously gives you. If other can do it, so can you.Your points are all nonsensical and ignore obvious facts.
I already wrote them in the other thread. Again, you're the one ignoring the points I've laid.@LORD IMPERATOR

And yet Russia beats them at being globohomo.By the way, funny you mention the globohomo, which is who is indeed supporting the Ukraine against Russia.
Oh, no. They don't. The Chinese economy is based on a housing bubble that is in the middle of collapsing, and the current leadership of China is casting away the policies that made China rich in the first place.@Jump
Despite their numerous flaws, the Chinks seem to be able to plan for a future society, not for the next quarter. US & Canada are so rotten they couldn't stomach decreased profits for a few quarters even if it meant keeping a global hegemony.
It makes logical sense for Ukraine to be using old weaponry since everybody's conscripted to fight, it makes no sense for the professional invading army to be using old shit at all. And that shit's mounted on a farm trailer, is Russia running out of shit already?View attachment 3098797

But which of these points are refuting any statements that I made? I probably agree with most if not all of them, reminding you that what I describe aren't neccessary even my opinions on the war, but what is the Russian perceptions, which you wholesale reject without even a thought.I already wrote them. Again, you're the one ignoring the points I've laid.
Possibly, I'm not in a position to make that case one way or another. And yet Russia beats them at being globohomo.
They didn't have as much of the good stuff as they pretended to have. That's what happens when your country makes less money per year than New York State. It makes logical sense for Ukraine to be using old weaponry since everybody's conscripted to fight, it makes no sense for the professional invading army to be using old shit at all. And that shit's mounted on a farm trailer, is Russia running out of shit already?
They're on the brink of demographic implosion thanks to decades of the One Child Policy, which was in turn caused by the famines caused by the "Great Leap Forward".Despite their numerous flaws, the Chinks seem to be able to plan for a future society,
Understatement. More like a city bubble.Oh, no. They don't. The Chinese economy is based on a housing bubble that is in the middle of collapsing, and the current leadership of China is casting away the policies that made China rich in the first place.
