Just remembered he tried to use his """viral""" Karen tweet about the Burger King sandwich to shill his content. Just like with his ProJared dunk. Why would anyone want to watch this fuckface cry about messy fast food for an hour unless they were a dent or hate watcher?

One of my all-time favorite tweets of his. Plugging coming to check him out to see his 'inability to provide my wife with an edible meal' and not realizing how absolutely fucking awful and impotent that makes him sound. Just classic.
Unrelated to that, I think that the reason I've checked in with him so sporadically lately is because of how exhausting and tedious his daily ER rants where he talks about watching the way all these 'pro-level' streamers play have become to me. This is a bit of rambling by me about something that I'd normally find unjustified in its length, but he's doing this on a daily basis now for, at times, upwards of 20 minutes.
Part of it is the flat out lying about how all these very real people help his victim narrative so much by so specifically echoing all of his defenses for why his playthrough of the game doesn't suck, repeating all of his taking points almost word for word. Almost makes you wonder why he never gives any names and tells you that if you don't believe him you can just go check it out for yourself. I'm sure his reasons have something to do with 'mentally ill' detractors, etc, etc though, and not at all because there's nobody saying these things.
The other part is this apparent 180 he's done when he talks about other streamers. When has he ever talked about another streamer and used them as an example of someone you should be listening to ? When has he even just generally said anything nice about one? Streamers like the ones he now references have always been:
1. People who play one game repeatedly because they're shills milking a gimmick to make money (or, in the case of something like Fortnite, because they're streaming to an audience of little kids which is, for some reason, a terrible thing).
2. They don't give you the kind of authentic and robust reactions to games that he does because they just kiss a games ass for a paycheck and to continue getting to play new releases earlier than regular people like 'me and you'.
3. They're phonies who have teams of people behind the scenes doing all the things Phil can't afford to do like... editing, and that's why they're all filthy rich.
Overnight, they've become a trusted and reliable resource for how you not only should physically play a game, but for what your motivation, philosophy, and mental approach should be depending on which time you are playing through it. I've never before seen him look this often to other streamers as his defense for doing something before. His reference of others is almost always explicitly to separate himself from them, labeling whatever they're doing as wrong and whatever he's doing as right. Some things never change though and he's still at least been able to insult them for being 'boring'.
Having to endure his whole ridiculous, hypocritical, and holier-than-thou attitude and demeanor about this game on a daily basis has made him pretty much unwatchable to me, and it will probably stay that way for the duration of it. He's always done the thing where he rants exhaustively and bitterly about how little he cares about something and how little it bothers him, but this has been some of the worst I can remember.
If you're going to piss and moan to the extent that he does and that I have in response to it, at least be honest enough to say that's it's a reaction to how much something annoys you instead of how little it does.
