Majority of Russian forces have their personal mobile phones taken from them. So I doubt this info even gets to them.

Judging by how disorganized the Russians are thus far no doubt some soldiers are sneaking in their phones so they can play candy crush on. We are talking about zoomers... It also wouldn't surprise me if some of them are actually using cell phones for communications on the battlefield because its easier and requires no setup to do so. I would imagine even Americans would do this too. It's not like its a knock against any military force, sometimes its worth the risk to use unsafe lines of communications in an emergency.

Probably, China suffers the same issue Russia does where promotions and positions are handed out by loyalty and not skill. Russia's Minister of Defense and General of the Army, Sergi Shoigu has no prior military experience before he was handed those two titles. It's not as bad as Russia's, but still bad.

lol if you think any military hands out promotions based on skill. do the hardest workers get promoted anywhere? war is the great filter for incompetent commands. the US army fired 16 generals during WWII for incompetence.

having worked with west pointers groomed for their own stars eventually, they all act more like middle managers than inspiring leaders. which is exactly what you'd expect out of a peacetime military more concerned with politics than results.

Besides, people talk. When a General or Colonel is killed on a front, most people on that front will probably hear about it sooner rather than later, phones or not.

I think both China and Russias military suck when stacked against the West. They are only viable because they have nuclear deterrence. In fact its so bad we would invade them and they would have to defend. If they tried to invade us they would die catastrophically. US militias alone could probably stave off most of the invasion. Russia is weak and china is being carried by relatively new found power, where the west has been making a lot of bank and strong currency for almost a century.

The game for the east was lost when Europeon colonizers took the Americas and then the galvanization of Europe and North America Post WW2. Where were China and Russias gains in the past 600 years oh Russia sold the USA Alaska for 7.2 million (130 million adj. for inflation) Gross, and then the collapse of the Soviet Union in which several regions are now part of NATO lol.

The bulk of the Russian forces are fucking zoomers not super soldiers, numb fingers to them are frostbite to half of them. That being said it can't be comfortable for many of them its not like its -20c out at night but being bone chilled and touching a lot of cold metal would make me cold at night. It's probably damp and windy, we are only in early march.
