Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

Does anyone have any good recommendations for background-noise-channels? Doesn't really matter if they read creepypastas/stories/reddit posts, or talk about true crime, or whatever. I just need new stuff to listen to while I work. TIA

A really good channel for that purpose is "Unsolved No More." It's just a real cold case detective who mulls over various murders/disapppearances. The guy is extremely clever despite not seeming like it right away. I listen to his longer videos while I game.

Haha, well, the dude was on the History channel at some point. I think the "professional" YouTube intro was a given in his mind. I always skip it 'cause it's a tad too long.

Aussie lesbo translates old 2ch creepypastas and other Japanese spooky stuff. Not really scary but interesting to listen to and great BG noise.

I've listened to his stuff for a while now and I agree to a degree with you - it's nice background noise (his way of speaking just annoys me a little) and the presentation isn't too bad (aside from weird stuff like the whole 'assigned female at birth').

But then I've come across this video here earlier today and just... yeah. It made me cringe pretty hard.

The same, cringy "I will hunt down people who draw lolicon and I will ask you to do the same, we are one" stuff mamamax pulled, just with less edge. I can absolutely see why people have an issue with drawn CP, but those self-proclaimed pedo-hunter-guys just always make it hard for me to take them seriously.

Yeah it was cringe, but I guess mamamax's cringe has spread to every crevice on horror YouTube. The presentation isn't all too bad and the voice is a bit jarring and the small instances of his politics seeping through are bad, but as background noise it isn't too bad.

The only disturbing part is that loli and shots are very prominent on Pixiv which is natural since it's mostly Japanese based and those fuckers are kinky and disgusting. That and one of the heads of Pixiv allegedly molested some idols that they were managing?.

Just that.
He mentions at some point that there's comment under images tagged as loli or shota (or similar tags) that look like they could lead to 'real CP sites' or 'ip grabbers' but he of course never checked them out and just theorises about what they could be.
Something I've never quite understood with those channels in general. If you want to play online detective, get a VM installed or buy a cheap laptop off of craigslist, and click the fucking links. Don't just make up stories about what horrible things could be hidden behind those urls. Most of the time, I bet, it's just shitty legal porn sites or mobile game ads.
