It's not a coincidence that Anya, the one who did not appeal to EOPs in the first place, has not suffered the same results. 'Proto HoloEN' is very apt. 'EN' and 'ID' become irrelevant tags when everyone - even the management - knows they all want the same audience pool. 20 members vying for an EN audience but 9 of them are not called 'EN'. Reine and Ollie have 570K and 1m subs respectively but average the same viewers as Reimu nowadays.


I agree. The Top 6 Indo corpo V-Tubers all belong to Hololive, and their least popular member is twice the size of Nijisanji's.

Which is kind of what I'm getting at. HoloID are huge entities. They have a combined 4.1m subs, and that's not including the new Gen that already have about 50K each (already 3x the amount of UPROAR!!! lmao). People aren't sleeping on them, they aren't watching them because the entire branch serves to tide EOPs over until the next EN generation. ID2 has served its purpose to the r/Holo crowd, and ID3 will do the same in 6-8 months from now.

I remember watching Ollie play Apex when she was around 900kish subs and barely floating around the 1k live mark yet you walk into any council stream and they easily maintain at least 3 times that.

HoloIDs audience is like 25% ID 25% EOP fans watching their oshi 50% EOP fans waiting for someone from EN to stream.

I think regional friendly competition is healthy for talents to grow. Right now, after HoloFes, HoloID show the world that they are top tier Vtuber SEA region has to offer.

Europe is a wild card as the amount of free money is varying from one region to another so it’s better to recruit multilingual Vtuber that specializes (ethnically) that know English.

I think if Holo takes “the world miss” model contest approach, it would be super cool since they already marketing themselves as virtual idol so might as well try to get into that type of spotlight.

Consider how the “le forbidden knowledge 🤡” would dig up talents IRL info immediately anyway, I don’t think Peruvians would stop supporting a Peruvian Holo girl who stream more in English vs Spanish. Unless they are butts clenching like the “put tank in a mall”. Even if some ebony chick get into Hololive via talents vs being ethot, she will get as much as support regionally (so far ebony scene had more ethots and amateur porn vs actual entertainment values so I’m being generous when thinking there will be some black chick later Gen).

If Holo evolve in that way (thank god they chop out the CN before it becomes a tumor and ruin everything), and they have enough capitals to host mini HoloFes semi annually (introduce new Gen 3D) with 1 MegaFes annually (super performance with upgrade 3D models). They will become larger than life and the indies scene will also evolve in away as anticipation as well as polishing themselves so they can become a strong candidate to get the golden ticket 🎫.

For girls who will eventually retire, they can come back as commentary during those Fes.

It sounded like WWE model but it will be super super interesting if Yagoo is adventurous enough and keeping up the standard and don’t let grifter like that communist lowcow Futakuchi Mana get in and Holo will thrive for many years to come.

Holy hell yabbit. What is it with you and Wednesday streams that I miss that makes you go tits out bonkers? 6 HOURS YABBIT! 6 HOURS! Maybe it's some sort of thing involving the moon and girl crap.

From what I've been reading it sounds like it was both a blast for the girls and chat. I'm looking forward to the VOD. I'm glad our little bunny is able to open herself up to more people. I want all of Phase Connect to succeed but I want that for Pippers most all.
I saw a clip from a long deleted stream of one of our girls alternate personalities. She was more or less bawling because of the support her chat was giving her. She was crying about how she always feels like someone is mad at her and out of place, and how chat didn't care that she screws things or is hyper and unfocused.

Fullon armchair psychology here, based on what she's openly stated about her life, I think she's been looking and longing for a place of belonging. All the times she's had to move, been in and out of school, never fitting in even in her online communities, and now she has two established presences the loser rabbit has now found a place where she's wanted.

While I am happy for her and her accomplishments and happy that I can maybe play a small part in that, we are not a replacement for family/home. I want our girl to have a full and fulfilling life and I will cheer her on every step of the way even as she rides off into the sunset.

Honestly, if the blacksmith woman actually knows how to smith, I'd personally want a Man-At-Arms kind of content where we see her actually make shit. Probably impossible, but that would be some great content ngl

I fully admit I’m not certain if this goes here or in the RT/AH thread but given that its vtuber related presuming it goes here.

In like 2 hours there will be an Among Us collab between two nijien members, 3 members from Recreyo (never heard of them until now), Crunchyroll-Hime, and…..Black Krystal and Ky from Achievement Hunter. This will definitely be an…..interesting collab.

First collab I'm giving a hard pass tbh.

Krystal is annoying but alright, but Ky is so insufferable and unfunny that I'm not even prepared to stomach it for Pomu and Selen. Crunchyroll Hime needs better friends but Recreyo and AH are both technically RT and Crunchyroll/Funi has been partnered with RT for years now so it's unsurprising. Poor girl.

Good time to catch up on my Netflix backlog.

Since I see that some people are still talking about the Vermintide stream I figured I'd give my thoughts on it as well:

It felt like a bizzaro world version of the latter half of the Mister Metokur vs Ethan Ralph Boulder steam. It was two people being very candid with each other to the point where I feel that they almost forgot they had an audience, only instead of Ralph realizing that Jim was never his friend, it was Pippa and Lumi instantly becoming best friends. They talked about a lot of stuff that I would think is off limits for most corpo Vtubers; their irl appearance, past lives and post graduation, thoughts on their audience and other Vtubers. I really liked the honesty displayed by two women pretending to be cartoon characters. Overall very nice stream, glad to see the autistic rabbit is making friends.

On a related note, I am a bit confused about Lumi's situation. They talked about collabing in the future but isn't she graduating this week? Is she going to keep her character or are they breaking the 4th wall and saying that her roommate/next incarnation is going to be collabing with Pippa?

This is offtopic but I found a pretty cool guide on Reddit on how to archive sites easier. If you are using Firefox, you can create a new bookmark and copy paste this code:
