What part is that? Taking Ukraine's nukes with a promise to protect it if shit hits the fan,
"They never learn."

A rally in support of Russia is currently taking place in the Israeli city of Netanya.

People came out with Russian and Israeli flags, Russian songs are playing in the streets.

A rally was held in Tel Aviv in support of Russia.

I don't understand anything anymore. The whole world is already more Jewish than the Jews themselves.
A lot of Russian jews emigrated to Israel, guess some kept a sympathetic view of Russia.

Is it just me, or are the Ruskies ramping up their airstrikes?

Almost... almost like the Russians have a doctrine that's different from Americas... Where they create cauldrons and turn up the heat increasingly to help with their negotiations. Because they didnt misinterpret Clausewitz and understand War is the continuation of politics with other means and not how Americans understand Clausewitz as War is a continuation of politics BY other means.

But no. Russias military has to be incompetent. We will judge a fish by its ability to run on land and feel smug about it.

From all the reading I did, here is my guess on the current situation.

Rossiya lways had a problematic government since the Tzarist imes. The problems got really bad when Russian Communism (then Soviet Communism) made veryone miserable. Crimea was once Ukraïnian, then Soviet, then Ukraïnian again, but Vladimir wants to take Crimea gain. Then again, Ukraïnia was anschlussed into the Soviet Union. The United States decided to first side with Communist Rossiya in defeating Nazi Deutschland, but hen gaged into a 'Cold War' against Rossiya. Both prepared nuclear weapons and raised their natioral fervour, while anything Rossiyan was considered heretical in the United States during McCarthyism; people were actually punished (not merely cancelled) with being remotely 'Communist'. A result was NATO, which purpose was opposing the Soviet Union... which instead collapsed ue to glasnost and perestroika, that is, letting some capitalism in the country. Rossiyans were miserable in the aftermath and subsequent restructuring, but at least he United States promised to dismantle NATO if the Soviet Union was not a problem.

LOL NOPE

They kept NATO and even some lingering anti-Rossiyan sentiment. However, the Clinton family bought Rossiyan uranium while accusing Donald Trump of colluding with Rossiya due to an off comment he did, resulting in an entire term furiously investigating any ties. There was also tonnes of hatred from the United States and all of NATO because Vladimir Putin was urprisingly conservative; St Petersburg passed a law that forbade advertising non-traditional families (that is, BGLT+ stuff) while Vladimir Putin was against population reduction and vulgar media. Joe Biden is goading Ukraïnia into joining NATO, but Rossiya would rather prefer Ukraïnia be a neutral 'buffer' separating Rossiya from a promise-breaking organisation founded on getting rid of Rossiya. Meanwhile, Ukraïnia had a corrupt democracy, which Barack Obama and later Hunter Biden exploited in making deals with Ukraïnia. There were also neo-Nazis (actual ones, not people who like Harry Potter and Omori) in Ukraïnia. Viktor Yanukovych, a pro-Rossiyan president, was democratically elected there, but he United States forcibly removed and replaced him with Petro Poroshenko, a pro-Ukraïnian president. The next president Volodymyr Zelensky was unpopular... until Vladimir Putin, seeing how Joe Biden's policy was 'appease until peace', decided to invade Ukraïnia. That had Volodymyr Zelensky fight in the war himself, which redeemed himself within and pretty much all of outside Ukraïnia. This war had pretty much everyone cancel and punish Rossiya and support Ukraïnia... though a lot of that is based on virtue-signalling and NPC 'we support he current hing'. That is actually helping Vladimir Putin's plans of isolating Rossiya from the world. Vladimir Putin also became hostile to any country 'unfriendly' with Rossiya. The war is hurting Ukraïnia gravely, but Rossiya is bankrupting itself in the process. Despite this, Rossiya has access to nuclear weapons, including the currently undefeatable MiG-31. Actual, ordinary Rossiyans are stuck in the middle, they not being able to get international currency and are stuck with a messed-up Rubble. They are punished gravely if they even call the war a 'war'... much more if they protest. Despite that, Rossiya nd Ukrainia re both drafting men into this war, though Rossiya is faltering.

Ukraïnia, Rossiya, the United States, and all of the rest of NATO are witches playing Doki Doki Majo Shinpan with each other.
Folks, humbly suggest reading the book Bloodlands. Came out about ten years ago. Provides some good info about this entire troubled area of the world. The bad blood between Ukraine and Russia goes back many, many years. Also lots of turmoil in the general Poland/Ukraine/Baltics/Belarus region.

One sad thing...as usual, Americans learn their geography and often some history from wars. Recently have been talking with younger people who have almost no knowledge of WWII, so you can imagine how much they know about the Russia/Ukraine back story. They are rather receptive to what I tell them, and my suggested reading. Don't blame the people, I blame the schools.

Linear controls yeah, but real time optic tracking on a missile seems nuts
They can do all sorts of shit, been doing it for many years. Pace of research and development just grows.

Yesterday I told you how one of the priorities of the Canadian military is getting rid of whites, today I am here to tell you their priority is also trannies. Canada is led by a man making demands of NATO with a non-functional military which does not meet NATO funding requirements and an air force which is functional for air shows only.

Maybe we're just sick of spending blood and money to protect faggots who can't even make their NATO obligations or carry out a bombing campaign for longer than 2 weeks before asking us for money and munitions.

We need to stop being everyone else's piggy bank and line of defense.

Fuck you, defend your own territory, pay your own shit.

Fucking Eurofags think we should just jump into Ukraine with a knife between our teeth and start fighting everyone, but cry about mudders and fuckwads and hold protests and talk all about how mean the US is.

You want the Ukraine settled? Have your fucking countries do it. Fuck off and leave us alone and let us fix our shit.

Because if we go down, we'll take Europe with us.

Which is even more amusing since all this shit was exported by Europe in the 60's and 70's into our academia and now is fucking them in the ass.

This. Russia isn't a global threat any more. The only reason the USA spergs out about Russia is we have some decrepit Cold Warriors who have no meaning in their lives if they aren't fighting Moscow, and some Jewish neocons with an ethnic grievance because Great Grandpa got run out by the Tsar, or Grandpa got run out by Stalin.

Washington was right. James Monroe was right. Europeans are addicted to killing each other, and we should let them get back to it.

Could also be missiles. Hope the Ukes get those Soviet systems from the USA. Suggest those systems may have been updated here in the USA.

It's highly likely that most supply lines to the Donbass front would be broken by the time they get there.

That front is in a critical state right now.

The Russians are really focusing their airpower and missiles on fuel deposits, railines and arm depots.

BUUuUuuUUt SaaaAAArge I CAN'T go on patrol I have to diiilaaaate ughhhg

I wonder just how old the missiles they're firing are. Cold War era stuff could easily have developed cracks in the rocket engine, I know that happened on some US missiles that were stored. If these are all brand new, that would be very concerning to have that failure rate. Of course Russian QC has always been pretty shit, so who knows.

Sharing a few remaining Russian chan memes left from yesterday.

Here's a Raspberry Pi with a Coral USB Accelerator running object detection at close to 30 fps.
This is a $55 board with a $60 dongle that speeds up the machine learning. Not military grade by any means, but that's 120 bucks and commercially available.

They've probably used Javelins on everything with wheels, perhaps even bipedals. They've been ocasionally used against people during the GWOT simply because it has the precision and range to hit someone your rifle can't. I can see Ukrainians desperately firing the missiles left and right and hoping for the tap to not run out.
The trajectory is constantly updated, there's a seeker in the tip of the missile, and it is indeed optical. I don't know what kind of algorithm is used but the "pure" heat seeking of older air to air missiles is quite outdated, the Javelin uses an actual staring array that should look more like the thermal footage from a drone and the outline of the vehicles is well defined. Depending on how much computing power you have available, it's possible for the tracker to use edge detection to always remember the outline of the vehicle, perhaps even store information about the number of wheels and the type of turret.
There's always malfunctions and it's extremely difficult to erase that part of the equation, but I'm sure they're firing Javelins at targets that are not as juicy as tanks, and the lack of training is leading them to do things like fire them from bad positions where the missile's own seeker can be obscured by dense trees or buildings while the shooter has a direct line of sight to the target from his launcher unit.

Hm, I wonder if a defence against Javelins/other optical missiles might be some method of changing the vehicle's outline (At least visually), or otherwise confusing the sensors mid-flight? Perhaps launching chaff/smoke of some kind into a projected flight path?

I suppose the current ADS approach of blowing it out of the air with ARENA, TROPHY, etc is more effective, however.

Don't worry, I'm sure more than a few militaries will be extensively testing countermeasures to the Javelin and similar missiles for the next several years. We're definitely gonna get answers to that question.

Smoke opaque to IR works, but it's still a matter of noticing the launch and popping smoke while driving off so that the missile drives itself into the expected location inside the smoke cloud - this doesn't give the vehicle crew a lot of time.
If you've seen those tube looking things sticking out of turrets in armored vehicles, they're cannister launchers to pop smoke.

Its Techpriest. He still needs to eat a hat before anyone should pay attention to him.

Wouldn't B and C just mean Biden is sanctioning his cronies and family?
Yes, in a sane world, not in a world where the POTUS can’t even control his intestines during an audience with the Pope, much less posess the mental fortitude for more than a 15 minute press conference with Q&A.
