As I have said, today is a national day in Greece so I decided to look up some terms on Google Trends for Greece. Pics in the spoilers.
It's not much, but it pretty much confirms what I already know that vtubers in Greece is a niche of a niche. Anime and manga are already pretty niche here (there are only two shops which sell related merch here and both of them are in Thessaloniki, not Athens the capital) so vtubers are an even bigger niche. Compared to Poland, which was mentioned here before, where the charts reach the ground less times, and the US, where the charts never reach 0, Greece seems not unfazed, but rather untouched by vtubers. If a shark girl from Atlantis that spoke some butchered greek in her song won't do it, no outsider will. Greece is pretty much an echo chamber, so unless there is a Greek vtuber in Hololive or Nijisanji, I doubt there will ever be any big interest on the subject by the local weebs or any sort of media mainstream or not. (Personally speaking, I am not interested for anyone from the Balkans making it in the big two, but whatever.) So, I can rest easy that I can enjoy my hobby at peace where I am.
Also, I tried other vtubers except Gura, but it brought up the "no data available". I tried, but after a while I got tired of putting names in the void. I tried Nijisanji as well, but "no data available".
