I feel like DSP would have been a perfect joke character for five minutes in the Sopranos.

Have Furio deal with collecting debt from Phil, he tries to rant about his Italian heritage, Furio kicks his teeth in.

You only hear about DSP through off hand comments from there onwards.

I could easily imagine Phil joining in on trashing the finale saying it all could have been avoided if he wasn't killed off.

My mentally ill theory is this: he moved to Washington for a multitude of reasons: to flex on his family and friends, trapping PandaRee into a place where she had NO friends or family, and to get away from his parents. You're over thinking it. DSP wanted to move to a state with no state income tax. He narrowed it down to WA, FL, and TX. The latter two were too hot for his feeble body so he settled on WA.

Other states with no state income tax are NV (also too hot) WY, SD, and AK (all too rural).

Spirited away creeped him out? He was the impressionable age of 18, and it was probably on a Philly/Mommy date.

He's rebranding his failure to launch era and his ongoing mental and emotional immaturity as some sort of extended childhood.
It's getting even weirder as he promotes the 'elder statesman wisdom' that he seems to expect to suddenly develop on his 40th birthday.
I don't know that the five year window in which you perceived yourself as an adult is really sufficient life experience to classify you as 'wise'...

That place is a little too big for just 2 people and their son cat jasper. That place if we use phil as the reference, its gotta be a shithole. Question are those houses are adjacent to each other? if so that place isn't a house, is more like a condo complex thingy. I figured they would have their own space. Imagine being his neighbors and listening "ACK ACK ACK" at night or scat jokes. God what a horrible luck those people have. Although I'm curious what his neighbor think of him or if he interacts with them in any capacity.

Didnt all his neightbors get doxed as well? I mean on top of Phil just being a grossly unpleasant person they probably want to stay as far away from the vortex as possible.
