Also is it just me or is anyone still blow away or infuriated that Bella ‘got off’ relatively well. I mean yeah her reputation is ruined online forever over what a rotten and perverted psycho she is. But aside from that and getting kicked out of college she’s not really received any punishment of any sort, none of her friends have left her and she’s still protected by a rich af family and can probably recover with enough time and money. I don't think she has it in her to kill someone. Optimistic, but its likely going to stay at petty sociopathic stuff. Fucking with friends behind their backs, maybe continual animal abuse, possibly causing drama and people to be fired at any place she works, etc.

She's probably feeding the poor thing live though, which can easily turn fatal for the snake. Unless you have a snake that absolutely will not eat otherwise (and it can happen with balls since they can be weird about food), you should only feed pre-killed prey. Rodents have much longer teeth than ball pythons.

Is it really that bad? Now if she skinned it alive and then staked it's limbs outside at noon to roast alive then yeah that's pretty bad (Ender's game reference) but it's just nature. I remember we had a milk snake in my 4th grade class that was our mascot. Our teacher would buy/find lizards and we'd watch on the overhead projector and it was pretty damn cool.

This is closer to what happened. I think most people assumed Bella was at fault just due to her propensity to be involved in similar such matters.
I definitely agree this was the reason for purchase but the bitch was too dumb to research and buy a species with more aggressive feeding responses. Lord knows she has the money to afford species other than the cheapest one on the market, meanwhile ball pythons are called pet rocks for a reason. This is probably the absolute worst snake to own if your reason for owning is to watch it eat live prey– They're incredibly docile and generally slow. There'll obviously be exceptions to the rule but you wouldn't buy say, a golden retriever, then expect it to behave like a pointer or some shit.
