I agree that capitalism is the best economic system, but that's not because of capitalism itself. A country with a capitalist system is a sign that it's people are independent/self-motivated and are naturally distrustful of gov'ts when it comes to getting what they want.

When it comes to what's a good economic system what's not, it's best to take a bottom-up approach.
One of the Achilles Heels to modern capitalist nations has to be the welfare system or social safety net or whatever.

A system that in theory is designed to help citizens like those who are unfortunately unable to make a better life for themselves or disabled due to unfortunate circumstances or something for old retired folks to live off.

Has been turned slowly into a third world style system of buying votes for gibs and more gibs.

And when the gibs run out, what will they do.

There is more chance of Biden being switched out than Putin.
Can wait for the moment when Biden says that Assad must go.

Belarusian volunteers brag about destroyed vehicles. Also, one of them apparently admits that they have not taken prisoners in a while (link).

Oh, and here's a vid of Ukies unloading a bunch of landmines (link)

All these motherfuckers in the comments clapping because the senile president of the united fucking states openly called and supported for the (forced) removal of the most powerful man in russia is making me rabid.
Im for once glad that there's a whole chain of commands involved with military decisions and it's not up to just one dumbass.

He is absolutely going to defeat Putin in the first fight, make America strong again, unite Europe, and nuke China. He is basically Jesus, if you think about it.

I'm not really sure if that's a unique problem with capitalism though. The idea of a welfare system goes back long before capitalism. Look at Rome and its bread allowance. I think regardless of what system you use, encouraging people not to work is always a failing strategy.

Depends on the goal, the Roman bread allowance was all about keeping the population passive and winning votes, same with modern welfare.

Binkov's Battlegrounds just released a video explaining possibilities on why Russia has slowed down based on current information, with out shilling for a side or sperging out. Boils down to Russia severely underestimating Ukraine and their willingness to fight.

Why is that fighter pilot wearing full gear and why does he have a beard? Fighter pilots are not allowed to have beards because of the oxygen masks they wear.
American pilots aren't, idk about Ukrainian ones. I mean given we saw a severely overweight Russian pilot, they may follow different standards for what pilots can and can't do. The only reason I'm comparing with Russia is I'm assuming they probably have similar guidelines seeing as both descended from the soviet air force.

We're watching it in action in Ukraine, the gibs for the plebes are running out, the gibs for Hunter Biden and the like never will.

You have to have work for the plebes to do though (and not give to to illegals because they're cheaper), that's why the WPA was a smart move on FDR's part.

Pilots have to wear oxygen masks no matter what air force they belong to, ukrainians aren't magically resistant to hypoxia.

Well I'm going to derail the thread here, but its a miracle that he survived a regime change operation initiated by the west lol given how usually successful they are.

Yeah, I remember when Putin saved his ass when the US was preparing to bomb Syria because of those alleged chemical attacks.
A thing that was later on debunked by the UN themselves.

The WPA was actually one of his smarter programs, although that is a low standard for some of them. I mean we could always go back to the ancient method of what to do with people who can't pay for shit, and let them sell themselves into slavery.

Well were OK until our overlords moved manufacturing to China. with the connivance of labor unions. That's why no one should believe a single thing a union rep says.

Yeah don't get me started on unions or we're gonna need a whole new thread. Hell, they're a decent part of why all our military equipment costs so much, and why all our projects take forever to complete.
