Gotta say Penny's "the herd lives on" is a really creepy way of putting it. Has a very ritualistic "long live the king/tranch" feel.

Aside from normal malfunctions I'm no expert on breaking guns. I think it might be a complete garbage chinesium part or he tried too hard mortaring it to unjam a stuck bolt. The pronounced white line on the shaft is either dog hair from their grimy carpet GET A FUCKING VACUUM CLEANER FOR FUCK'S SAKE or a hairline fracture.

Looks like a trybe defense. Never ran one but I guess they are junk. Less than half the price of a radian. In general it's interesting to me what kit the tranchers choose to run. I've seen them with nice peltor coms and such but then you see them with cheap crap like this. Anyone have an idea what the tranch load out is?

On the topic of gun sperging, I have to say the quality of gunposting has gone WAY up from what it used to be in this thread. It used to be that the knitting spergs would explain a thing for non-knitters, the car spergs would do a decent job at breaking it down for non-gearheads (mostly), and farmers/animal spergs knew how to do the same VERY well.

Meanwhile the gun spergs would just come in and be like "yeah that's a jibble jabble 5.6 with a clearly mismatched wompf, these fucking idiots don't realise that if you frank the spoobiator multiple times a day, that's what's gonna happen. I bet these numbnuts don't even derf their hibbicubs". That's what made them so fucking annoying in comparison to everyone else, they just acted like everyone knew what they were talking about when of course we don't.

Idk what changed, but now the gunspergs actually occasionally explain what a spoobiator or a hibbicub is, and I have to say it's nice actually being able to follow along somewhat.

I still have no clue what a radian is but a charging handle is self-explanatory, and I can understand that a white line on a gun means too much of some substance (mortar apparently) is going on there.

1. The Tranchers are retarded
2. That charging handle is most probably made out of Chingchongium
3. Phil may have tried to Mortar (clear a malfunction, particularly a casing or live round stuck in the chamber by slamming the butt of the gun on the ground while the thumb/index and middle fingers rest on the right and left tabs of the charging handle respectively, fun fact one can actually break/damage cheaper buttstocks when doing this so it is recommended that before doing so you completely collapse the stock, this also helps with actually clearing the malfunction ) his AR and broke it that way, Anecdotal but I think I heard an example from John Lovell of Warrior Poet Society of him seeing a Milspec charging handle snap in two during a class segment on Malfunction clearing, so it can happen*.


*Aftermarket charging handles are mainly focused around ergonomics(larger latches), gas sealing and in some models venting (When using a Sound Suppressor or Silencer propellant gasses have the potential to leak out of the charging handle port due to the way most suppressors are designed and Irritate the eyes of the shooter even more than the gases coming out of the ejection port would) and presumably durability.

Edited for added Autism! 360 degrees equates to 6283.185 miliradians. It’s an extremely precise measurement used for long range marksmanship and artillery.
