There's something fundamentally wrong—or right in an autistic standards-following way—with every Mozilla-based browser that makes YT chat a problem. On the Mac I use as a TV, chat-enabled streams glitch out and freeze within a few minutes if I watch them in Firefox, and even archived streams with chat replay will slowly fill the virtual memory with such malformed nonsense that it eventually forces a system reboot. Safari and Brave are fine.

What they expected from watching nijiEN? hololive? Niji was always a mixed bag of males & females, not gender restricted groups, it was a matter of time that the males will arrive nijiEN and start interacting freely with the girls, just like nijiJP does.

It's probably a mix of people who aren't familiar with Nijisanji before EN, people who were hoping that the girls wouldn't collab often with guys (I remember a lot of Rosebuds saying that Rosemi wouldn't collab much with them because she's shy), and some trolls just being trolls.

Yeah, there were a fair amount of people talking about how the guys being a separate wave would mean that they'd be pretty separate from the girls, or that some of the girls would collab with them while others wouldn't. Obviously that went out the window very quickly. Ironically one of the girls who doesn't do many male collabs is Millie, who isn't that popular on /vt/.

Most Niji fans ARE Hololive fans - hence why they act that way. You'd be hardpressed to find someone who calls themselves a Nijifan and who also thinks that Fulgur didn't fuck himself over with his assessment of how Hololive is in shambles (except Scuttle, he's special)

Generally I'm just not interested in male vtubers and it can kind of mess up the atmosphere and chemistry of streams sometimes, which is why I don't really like the collabs between the Niji girls and guys. That said I do like Roberu and have been fine with the Holostars collabing with hololive girls. So maybe my problem is specifically with EN male vtubers.

Millie has pushed things further with the males than any other female member. She straight up joked with Fulgur, who was right and did nothing wrong, that she'd "pay with her body" during the last crab game collab. Nina also had to wrangle her a bit in an early collab with Oliver when she got on a roll.
