I'll never understand why locking on is such a hard concept for these girls to wrap their minds around in Elden Ring. Between IRyS and Ame, they miss half their attacks because they can't be bothered to hit a single button. Nothing quite like dying because you whiffed 3 attacks in a row T_T

At least Ame is getting better at it. Slowly.

Blame me for not paying attention. But did DDK was fairly known before she debuted as Calli? Did she knew the TT crew and Syd before Calli debut or they approached just after she appeared?

she had a following before Holo, mostly by her connection with other jp music artist like THK, but she met the TTS people after hololive and became good friends with them after her appearance in the podcast

As I far as I am aware there isn't any link between DDK and TT before Myths debut, that is what kind of led some fans into thinking they were only trying to piggyback off her and Hololive (it wasn't the only complaint they had but it was one of them), thankfully it seems like the friendship is genuine because as much as I dislike TT (and Calli for that matter) and prefer to keep them a more than an arms distance from Hololive, she needs some irl friends.

Locking onto an enemy shouldn't be that hard of concept though. Whatever Ame doesn't seem like the type to put up with the fromsoft tourists shit for long before ending the stream or intentionally fucking with them.

She was sorta known in the Japanese rap scene. Had 2 (?) self-made albums before Calli iirc. I knew about her when I was into Mad Rat Dead's music and found out she worked with the main composer of the game (Dyes Iwasaki from Fake Type). She had about 100k subs on Youtube when I first found out about her.

Nothing confirmed yet but there are a few evidences that make it sound like they do.
1. There are only a few number of English speaking people in Japan, so it makes sense for them to know each other, especially those that primarily make content on Youtube.
2. Calli has talked about applying for Hololive out of curiosity because a friend of hers applied for Holo first and talked about it with her/friend group. Syd applied for HoloEN Gen 1 using the prototype of Hime Hajime

I very much doubt Syd is the friend she talking about, if anything I have always believe it to be milkyqueen, and it might just be acting but they seriously act like they know nothing about each other on the first TT podcast Calli was on so I do think they had no connections before hand.

Doesn't make much sense for it to be Milkyqueen since she is already in a Corpo, albeit a smaller one.

There is a rrat that says that friend of hers was MilkyQueen and Calli took her spot from holoEN, and thats why she collabs a lot with her, because of guilt.

If Syd & DDK met before holoEN then Syd might been the bridge between Calli & TT.

Pomu's "conceit" is that she's a weeb idol fan. If that comes off as Hololive that's because Hololive has similar people, including an orange chicken who she is friends with.

She's very similar as "Pomu" as she was as Mint and as Mint she had no problem collabing with guys, including Tora aka Shu. Plus she more than most livers is very clear about how she's not a pure virgin, going so far as to admit to having been in a relationship with a girl and having a crush on a guy in the past.

I agree that on surface level she might give off the vibe of someone who is less likely to collab with the guys, but I don't think that's intentional.
