I remember when this video came out originally and even back then it was in bad taste. The only people who would do this would be people who are racist and use the "Its just a joke bro" as an excuse. Now I am not saying making jokes about race or cultures should be outlawed but it is the execution and context that matters because of how sensitive those topics can be. I have seen comedians make race related jokes and they are funny and even the people who are being made fun of are laughing at the joke, but the key difference between comedians and Phil is the delivery.

In his videos he would just stereotype people for a bad joke but in reality it showed how much of a piece of shit he is. It literally showed how he thought about other races and showcased his lack of comedic prowess since his jokes sucked. You can tell he sucked at jokes because 90% of his racist jokes were just mocking the way they talked.

That being said its funny that Dave wants to cancel people for one little thing, but god forbid you go to his older videos, hell even if you go back a few months, and point out the shitty things he has done. His favorite defense line is "I was young and dumb back then ackackack". No you fuck, you were in your late 20s so you should have had a more mature way of thinking at the time. Dave is the classic person who can't take responsibility for his actions and blame others. And if you back him up in a corner where he cant blame others, ie things he has said, he will say that "I was young dood" line and that you should see it as him being humble so you should suck him off that he admitted he was like that but is changed now.

You are not funny Phil, except how your life is a shipwreck and how pathetic you are begging to actual wheelchairs for their disability checks. To be fair his bank leaks narrative is "it's all faked and slander, didn't happen" and "I was a victim of identity theft and those fucking detractors fucked with shit behind da scenes that made me lose aludda money" while also implying that detractors were behind those iconic $15.61 transactions. Both at the same time. Contradictory? Sure, but which grand narrative of Phil's isn't at this point.

Because FromSoftware can't fix what isn't broken, Phil. Seriously. I mean are there still moments in Souls games where the game fucks up and you die not due to your own fault but because of some glitch or bug? Definitely, but it's rare and very obviously unintentional. Miyazaki himself said that punishing difficulty isn't the point of the games. The one game where he wasn't at the helm was Dark Souls 2 and you can really tell that they went full on with the "muh difficulty" meme there, given that 90% of the game feels tailor made to fuck over the player as much as possible. Ironically, I'd say that Dark Souls 2 is also probably the easiest one given just how busted lifegems are.
