Apparently Pomu was deleting negative comments on her off-collab with Finana and Uki and has now disabled comments altogether. Wasn't able to have a look myself before comments were turned off, but here are some screenshots I found a /vt/.

Seems like most of the negative comments were from people who were expecting the stream to just be Pomu and Feesh without a third wheel.
Would be nice if they told everyone to fuck off. Filter some of the unicorns and their cancer out.
I hold onto to one serious rrat - at least until her birthday - and that she's planning on returning back to the States for a long term stay some time after the obligatory Japanese 3D debut. I'm still calling it a rrat but it feels like it has more weight.
I think that she's homesick and it shows in little outbursts (going on tangents about family, her pets, etc ) and I know personally that living long term overseas with ties back in the home country is going to get to you eventually. Doing this could help a great deal. It's a lot like how Kiara's mental state got considerably healthier when she was back home with family, friends and her cats after her long isolation in pandemic lockdown Japan. Once she was back in a familiar environment with the people she cares about as opposed to more or less alone, all of her doom and gloom started easing up. Like Kiara it would be good for Calli/Karen to be back with her family for a long period of time. Especially after being unable to return for the holidays which must have been totally devastating.
Workwise, staying in North America for the foreseeable future also would make the logistics of her career much easier. She'll have access to meeting most of the Myth girls easily and it's easier to get between NA and Europe. She already mentioned plans of Karaoke with her Mom and I cannot see any feasible way of getting your boomer Mom to learn how to use discord or whatever.
Would be nice if Cover actually had a sort of multiple-room house for the girls to stay at thus making it easy for the girls that live far from the ciy + the girls that live overseas to have a place to stay if they choose to fly over to do some collabs with the senpais.
Calli's big announcement is probably related to moving back to the US for a bit and Signing up with a record label (Since she mentioned it was the most important thing career-wise) She did mention that overall it was a good thing but some people probably wouldn't like it (meaning JP fans who might want to have her over in Japan so that she can collab with Lui and such).
Strongest Fairy is just purging the unicorns.
Hope so
Apparently ShyLily used to be a "normal" streamer with her real face? Are there pics of her? I tried searching the thread but there isn't really any discussion of her pre-Veibae drama a month or two back, when she shot up in popularity. From the video it sounded like they are pretty common and not super secret or anything, so I was surprised not to find anything here or doing some quick google searches. (Compared to someone like Saruei who also used to face stream and is super easy to google for her IRL pictures with just a simple search.)
Also, I don't know if it is recent (but I don't remember seeing it on older clips of her), but I guess her fans are "shrimps" and she a little hand-drawn orange shrimp that she puts on her head or on stream. It is uncannily like Gura, which is kind of odd to see on someone else's stream.
I only know about her vtuber and only after Vei called her out for impersonating her. The shrip thing might also be a similar deal. And yes, she did switch her voice.
Maybe they are forbidden to monetize games from riots and now on her channel there is no monetization at all she can safely play. What she will do after monetization is interesting.
Not sure this is the case but if that were it, she can just stream the gameplay for 1 or 2 hours and then have a separate stream to "discuss" what happened which would be monetized.
The new penguin is playing Getting Over It.
Apparently she's been playing this game for
four years and never beaten it, yet there's not even a hint of rage. We might have a new legendarily-chill streamer here. I like her accent and deep voice too.
Her voice changed from debut to day 2. Not sure if it was nervousness or she realized that if the other 2 girls doing the cutesy voice she might as well fill the "mommy" role similar to Nina.
Male vtubers hold no appeal for me. Honestly cuteness is a big part of the appeal of vtubers, and male characters just don't trigger that protective instinct. There's a reason "cute girls doing cute things" is a genre and "cute boys doing cute things" isn't.
More than that though, is that for some reason male vtuber voices always sound very incongruous to me. I know intellectually that female vtubers don't look like their avatars - in fact I've seen most of their doxes - but for some reason their voices rarely clash with their designs. Exceptions would be Towa and Coco, whose voices always did clash for me which is why I always had a difficult time getting used to them despite their obvious talent.
But with male vtubers the voices pretty much always feel very incongruous. Not sure why.
I don't watch many of the boys but whenever I do its mostly because it feels like hanging around with friends and listening to them say really stupid shit. Don't really care about the queerbaiting.
I had this shower thought this morning. You know how failed Idols become JAV actresses? If mikeneko voices a hentai as a green-haired loli that shit is going to break record sales.
That would be hilarious.
It's amusing you guys seem to be glossing over the possibility that women and gays like the pretty anime boys for their looks. Well done detectives.
Don't think anyone has ignored that fact but its more of a personality thing than liking the bishonen type. If not every pretty anime boy vtuber would have a legion of thirsty fujos behind them.
Holyshit, that red SC is disguting
You really can't underestimate the craziness of Indonesian Fujo
That's pretty funny though. Normally I despise simps but I do find some of the comments extremely funny and amusing. Like the retard that left the "APOLOGIZE TO CALLI" essay.
Women can be even more unapologetically vulgar than men and there are various sites and servers they use that make /vt/ hornyposting look tame.
Looking at some of Vox's supas, if you reverse the sexes a lot of them wouldn't fly with most female vtubers. It's fucking weird to see.
The difference is that Vox is aware of the role he is playing and he goes hard into it. The only negative thing might come from the drama of some of the girls sperging out at each other or maybe Vox saying or doing something and one of them offing themselves but writing a huge essay about how they did it for Vox.
Actually, how long until something like that happens and every mainstream news channels starts reporting on the dangers of Vtubing? I say 1 year (starting from Luxiem's debut).
