General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Expecting anything more than 1 or 2 awkward interactions regarding ddk going to Kawaii-kon (awful name btw) is being way too hopeful , the fact its in Hawaii has already made a really high barrier to entry for the actual spergs to go to it , if it was in the lower 48 you could expect more/worse ,but expecting someone to pull a christina grimmie on her or anything of the sort is retarded.

I'm blaming the fans for not even giving the product a chance. There's a difference lmao. It's obvious that Hololive fans generally only like it when what they see are waifus. If it's anything but, they're not interested

Gura: Reaches 1 million subs, blitzes past literally everyone in the VTuber world. Has become an internet icon and is globally recognized as she is the face of Western VTubing currently.
You're actually joking here. Am I being baited? If so, then you did a good job.

Vox's "change" to the VTuber landscape is to pander to fujos, which is actually dangerous to male VTubing as a whole because it signals to a lot of people that the only way to be financially successful as a male VTuber is to fujobait. Vox alone didn't change the landscape, its the success of Luxiem as a whole. That's like crediting the explosion of VTubers because of Gura rather than the entirety of HoloMyth's success, which is a pretty fucking stupid thing to say. While Luxiem did set a precedent for male VTubers and that accomplishment is impressive, your complete lack of understanding in the overall VTubing environment and overestimation over their achievement makes me think you're either a dumb lost Nijinigger from /vt/, or you're baiting me.

Ngl, all this doomposting about DDK potentially getting fucked on the hawaii trip has gotten me worried for her lmao
Newfag, you fell for a very obvious bait. Lurk more

Joining a circle of woketard doesn't give you money/opportunity, and actual friendship and happiness. News at 11
The funny thing is: nijien is a circle of woketards, the difference is only that they've got a job contract
Plenty of woketards on Twitch, maybe the problem was she's a terf or similar.... (/sneed, rrat over, idk where she is at al on this)

I do think the coof made people think a lot more about what they want and what their priorities are. (with the various events that transpired, maybe it made people rethink their politics also, but that's me being :optimistic:.... I've seen people on my Facebook and how they think, shockingly ignorant, brings out the doom in me) For someone like Nina who thrived in social interaction, it might have been exceptionally rough, facemasks and all. Having a group you are part of with similar goals, interests, and aspirations is probably revitalizing after that.

There's a mutual, unwritten understanding in this thread that there's usually a few layers of irony in whatever I or UrsusAquatus here post when we are present for a prolonged period of time.

But this time he's right. Gura has a majority dead subs just like everyone else in Holo. Vox is the true king.

>b-but Gura has more subs
Sure, Subs that don't even watch her.
What's good with 3.89 mil subs that don't even watch her streams or SC?
Also, Vox is beating Gura's growth lately, so I wouldn't be surprised if he manages to blitz past her "subs"
The subs isn't even what's impressive there. It's her becoming the face of Western VTubing and becoming the icon for VTubers in the English speaking scene. Also 'subs' that don't watch her? Vox has an average of 10k viewers per stream and has way less members. "Lately" doesn't even count too because this is Luxiem's 'honeymoon' period. In a couple months, his growth is going to stagnate after the core fanbase settle
If it works, it works. You're just mad that Holos haven't caught on and are getting left in the dust by NijiEN
So you're agreeing with me that Vox haven't really contributed much to EN Male VTubing other than Fujobaiting and is actually a dangerous percent to set on the industry, and somehow you're okay with that just because you want to see Holo getting 'left in the dust', which isn't even true because HoloEN actually has still been pulling bigger numbers than NijiEN in terms of views?
Okay, yeah. You're a person that doesn't like VTubers alright. You just like fujoshits.

I'm actually just gonna choose to believe you're baiting me is pretending to be stupid. I actually cannot believe that someone who claims to have been into VTubers is this braindead

You don't think that's going to happen to literally everyone when they reach a certain size? Again, early 2022 is Luxiem's honeymoon period because they're a new groundbreaking group, just like how late 2020 and early 2021 was HoloMyth's. A couple months or years from now along the way, the stagnation is going to happen to Luxiem and Vox too. It's part of a content creator's life cycle to have dead subs after they reach their peak. What am I actually looking at here?

I like both branches enough (although most niji boys and Finana dont really appeal to me, everyone else is fine and watchable, especially Selen, Reimu, Enna and Pomu) but that also seems like a reach lmao, Luxiem was a rabid success but the Female NijiENs still dont really have that much of a pull like HoloEN does, granted its a larger branch as a whole so you cant really 1:1 compare them as well as you could with smaller branches like Council and Myth but even in the court of fanart and shit, the Hololive buff still makes their EN and even ID talent get some decent buzz, imho better than some of the buzz around NijiEN, but thats maybe just me

Stay mad my good sir. Your opinion does not matter in this case. Vox is the true face of EN Vtubing - this is Vox's world and you're just living in it.

"Vox is the king of EN Vtuber"
Half of the community itself don't even know who he is.
Of course he is popular lately thanks to pandering to fujo and that BFE crap. But to think that he would beat Gura in the long run, you guy are in massive copium right now. You people are turning kiwi farm into /vt/ right now with these schizo bait.

I sense a dejavu here: Same as aspiring female vtubers saw Myth success and thought they have to be idol like to be on the lightspot, males might (wrongfully) mimic Luxiem by trying to be fujobait. Only to see the results we experience now with the aspiring females: dropping the idol act because isnt their thing (just check the Lumi & Pippa collab to corroborate that).

Also..

Please dont bite the obvious bait :tomgirl:
