Fact check! Nancy Pelosi never drinks alcohol. Her staffers said so. The slurrin', the unfocused eyes, the body language you see at last call in bars, that's all your imagination. Barcodes aren't some infalliable bulwark against corruption. If they were pressed for time and simply couldn't hack the scanners, since their needed to be a record of ballots passing through the scanners to the computer were hooked up to. Then that's the way they had to do it. Or do you think people just pulled out boxes of ballots and re-scanned them for fun?

Until you get into stuff like the tens of thousands of deleted logs, the additional hidden hard drives, the offsite network connections, and the fact that it would back up and then delete the original logs. There was discussion in the 2 hour video of the results of the forensic examination that showed that the systems were altered to allow multiple barcodes and in some case not actually read the barcodes.

Then you had the fact that ballots were filled out with only Joe Biden checked, that were processed by the hundreds, at odd times.

There was irregularities.

That was part of the protest, that some systems didn't count the bar codes.

Yes but I'm assuming their needed to be a record of a ballot passing through the scanner. If it was as simple as just altering the database, maybe it would've been too obvious. Then the suspicious "stop counting" then "pull boxes out and start scanning" wouldn't be necessary.

One of the biggest issues these services will have is the market that'd buy it do not like the modern streaming service. They want to watch a tv channel and don't want to have to hunt and peck for stuff to watch. An older family member is subscribed to slingtv for this exact reason and it was nightmare to get them to only ask a few times a week how to do x.

Because as we saw when it happened, people will do it not for greed but for ideological reasons. I'd bet my pinky fingers the vast majority of those involved not only weren't working on some grand scale setup by others, but independently - and also weren't paid extra or bribed to boot. If people actually want to prevent what happened in 2020 from happening again you'll need people who want an actually fair election to embed themselves in the system as poll workers and poll checkers.

I respect your perspective and am worried about shenanigans to. Mass fraud is not off the cards come midterms and it's foolish to think otherwise. 2020 was not a case of nudging, it was an outright blatant steal. I would also be amazed if the States involved all were lone wolfs and independent actors. The steal was pre-planned and was definitely done by the left (and treacherous parts of the right) in unison.

The real question is whether they have the capital (financial and political) to do a repeat and if so, for how much? My guess is that the house seats should mostly be untouched, that a few senate seats will be fucked with and the real focus will on state governor, AG, and SOS races. If the Dems loses these, they lose most of their future ability to "fortify".
