I think they're just playing Super Nintendo instead of doing their jobs.Maybe Hector is right and byuus death IS a government coverup![]()
Emulated, no doubt?I think they're just playing Super Nintendo instead of doing their jobs.
I cant be bothered to look back through the threads but that was his exact plan. He said he changed his name to "Near" so that "Byuu" would be the name of the team that worked on his spergy cycle accurate emulator, thus he could byuuicide the Byuu name without having to put in redirects on byuu.org.That's actually a good one to explain his inevitable return. "Byuu" was a pen name used by a group of furry programmers, and only one of them committed suicide.
The government killed byuu for his cartridge collection.I think they're just playing Super Nintendo instead of doing their jobs.
yea I liedIm still waiting for those gospel-truth log leaks.
We lost, fellas? Weren't we TEH BIG BAD KIWI FARMS?>April 1st 2022

Apparently the only thing stronger than the code of silence among Byuu's friends is government's utter inability to do anything correct and on time.![]()
It will totally be logged there... by the end of April.well well well march came and went. can't wait for what hectors next excuse is
He can't be pronounced dead till all his cell lines are exterminated.
"DERE'S MONEY TO BE MADE?! I WANT I WANT GIB GIB GIB"In 2021 Henrietta Lacks's estate sued to get past and future payments for the alleged unauthorized and widely known sale of HeLa cells by Thermo Fisher Scientific.[20] Lacks's family hired an attorney to seek compensation from upwards of 100 pharmaceutical companies that have used and profited off of HeLa cells.[21]
*Lacks hardware acceleration*Re our earlier discussions of Asahi, developer/YouTuber Jeff Geerling did a video about getting Asahi up and running on a Mini:
tl;dr: It's very usable, and even boots into a usable KDE Plasma desktop despite the lack of graphical acceleration. It beats out macOS on the same hardware on some, but not all, formal and informal bookmarks.
Further evidence that Hector Martin might be a sperg who is helping to fake a friend's death, but he's at least smart enough to make this Asahi project work as well as advertised if not better.
You're just looking for reasons to hate on this.*Lacks hardware acceleration*
*Doesn’t even beat the more bloated OS at all the benchmarks*
‘It’s very usable.’
Okay dude.
I'll admit that I am at least, yes. You're right. You're just looking for reasons to hate on this.
You're right about this too. As much as I think Hector is a fucking clown and that I'd much rather live in a world with an M1 Linux project that he didn't have anything to do with, it's actually a commendable effort. Assuming that he doesn't suddenly decide to go full faggot like the Node guy ("I've hardcoded a ban on CloudFlare's DNS for anyone using Asahi until they decide to stop letting Null give them money!"), then the development of this thing looks promising.Don't let blind hector rage detract from Asahi being impressive - dude is absolutely a autistic fool but autists make the technical world go round, for better or for worse.
That really is the big assumption. Asahi Linux might be fine technically (I don't know or care) but I'd never use a project run by someone unstable and actively malicious. At least, not unless it was mature enough that I could just take a snapshot of the code and forget the guy exists.Assuming that he doesn't suddenly decide to go full faggot like the Node guy
Unfortunately this guy is just too erratic to trust. If he'd fake a suicide, what else would he do? He was already a criminal long before this. And a lot of them do reform, but this guy hasn't.Don't let blind hector rage detract from Asahi being impressive - dude is absolutely a autistic fool but autists make the technical world go round, for better or for worse. Not to mention, he is only one member of the team here.
