I've never owned a laptop for personal use (excusing the netbook I had in high school), but my work computer was switched from Dell to an HP Zbook. Best thing ever comparatively.

I wouldn't worry about Sweden as much as I would the US and UK. The grippen has a fair amount of parts that the two countries have export control on. I know the British used the option to do so when the argies tried buying them.

The theoretical advantage is that it wouldn't give the US total control over your fighters. Which is fucking stupid, because they've been using us made or designed fighters for at least 60 years now, plus the fact that the grippen has lots of us parts. Cost could be an advantage, but by the time you've crammed all the upgrades for the newest model in, it's almost the same cost as an f 35.

I use the old z800 as a media home server and it works so well, an absolute powerhouse for 600ish usd a few years ago. You can expand with ease too. looks pretty neat too, brushed aluminum case and tool-less design. I run a vm off of it as well for my daughter to goof around and game.
