Damnit, they need to remove Russian firearms from the sanctions list. I've been quite upset about that for a while now. Yes, I know, there's a stereotype about Americans there
IIRC it was the Republicans under Reagan and Bush 41 who started that ban and Obama expanded it.

Though if Trump wins, I don't see it being repealed as the NRA are even more cucked than ever, like cucked beyond their usual reputation of being cucks.

Notable opinion piece, but knowing what we know now, no big surprise. Archive back to the usual forever.

These thinkpieces are all written by glowfags and this one is no exception but I think the honest answer is they greatly oversold the Red Menace when it was politically convenient to do so and are greatly underselling it now it's politically convenient to do so.

I am getting that feeling as well. the Russians have shown no sign they are going to quit the fight and have moved around their units for the "second stage" of the operation. if this develops into a actual full fledge battle this will be the biggest since ww2 for sure, and might be the end of the Ukrainians if it goes well, or the Russians if it falls apart.

No, that was general import ban on certain semi autos. Reagan was the closing of the machine gun registry. Clinton and yeltsin made an agreement about certain Russian guns not be allowed for import, in an effort to stop the flow of weapons being stolen from the Russian military depots, but they still sold newly manufactured guns and ammo until relatively recently over here. The 2014 war was when the guns started being sanctioned so they couldn't come into the US. Which sucks for both Russians and Americans, there was good money in that.

It's over guys and Russia lost. A week ago they had 3 days worth of ammo and fuel and they ran out of missiles 10 days ago. The Ukrainians will be taking Moscow by the end of April.

Well the man has spoken and that's that. No more fucking around. Devil is the detail, will he make the Eurocucks hold Roubles in reserve for direct exchange like the burgers with the dollar or will he allow swaps through the Russian banking system?
This is maybe good news for the Ukies, if there's one thing guaranteed to get the burgers to go to war it's threatening the petrodollar.

I don't know if Ukraine still has a conventional army?
Russia owns the sky and its artillery is much more powerful. A lot of the Ukrainian army's equipment and resources got destroyed pretty quickly so they had to resort to guerilla warfare: street fighting in cities and small hit and run teams ambushing Russians.
I don't think this will change.

Alright, so I feel like I've seen enough media to fully know the differences between Russian and Ukrainian uniforms. Allow me to make a short analysis.

Russians and DPR troops wear dark or light green uniforms, with little to no camo details on them. If there are any, they are usually on their sleeves or on whatever chest protectors they're wearing.

On the other hand, Ukrainians wear uniforms with buttloads of digital camo, either on their pants, their jackets, or both.

Colors at this point are irrelevant, since both sides wear almost the same ones, however, Ukies are more likely to wear light brown or reddish-brown uniforms than the Rus.

With all this being said, there are still some pieces of media showing Russians with digital camo uniforms. After all, if the uniforms between the sides were completely different, there would be no armbands or flags on the sleeves.

But, if you come across videos or photos showing dead bodies, and you can't see the armbands or the flags, remember that Russians wear plain green, and Ukies wear digital camo.

This post was partially inspired by a post made by @Toothpaste in the last thread.

That seems somewhat unlikely to me, they tend to require some training to use. I know they had issues in the Falklands war when one of the only guys trained in it got killed early on. Plus it's not like Russia doesn't have enough manpads.
It could be possible. Russia has already captured enough stingers to produce their own documentation for them, most of that went to DNR/LNR fighters.

translation:
⚡️People's militia of the DPR: According to updated data, one of the downed Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters was destroyed by a trained crew from the captured Stinger MANPADS captured during the liberation of Mariupol.

The bodies of Azov nationalists were found at the site of the helicopter crash. Two militants were lucky enough to survive, and now operational measures are being taken with them.

They bombed the shit out of the Azov and the remnants are on film torturing POWs to death and lining POWs and Civilians up against ditches to be gunned down like the SS.

Denazifaction is done. Even if Russia doesn't hunt down and kill every remaining Azov, there's no way the Ukraine can keep them. It's just a matter of if Russia kills them or if they flee into the wilderness to avoid the upcoming war crimes trials.

There's a reason for that, but it's a bit too complex to copypasta over here. This column covers it REALLY well, though.

Basically, the Email Caste (mostly the left, shit like teachers and journalists and wall street execs and tech janitors) expected the Forgotten Caste (truckers, janitors, store clerks, plumbers, people who actually do things for society) to react in a seething rage, and 1/6 was supposed to be the Forgotten Caste storming the capital only to be put down in a decisive motion, cementing the Email Caste as only political force in America. They even had placed unused pipe bombs in two places, one Democrat and one Republican, to add to the narrative, as well as a government proclamation condemning the violence written up the day before the event even happened. Oh and had multiple paid agitators like Epps, hundreds of FBI agents embedded in the mess, at least one founder of an Antifa/BLM chapter with a CNN reporter onsite (the former of which was caught on tape and arrested for inciting a riot), yadda yadda.

I believe you can see this was the intent in their reaction to 1/6, which is overblown and unhinged, because they were absolutely counting on the Forgotten Caste overreacting with violence so they could be put down with force, forever -- for example, 1/6 was the excuse given to kill any opposition to the theft of the election and to block Trump from literally every avenue of speaking to the American people, and is currently being used to slowly cut off his access to banking and finance, leaving him penniless.

But instead of rushing in to water the tree of liberty, our Forgotten Caste are doing a slow seething burn and getting really, really creative (The Honkening, anyone?) as they realize that 1. The Email Caste hates them and considers themselves the only people worthy of having a political voice and 2. The Forgotten Caste has a whole shitload of untapped political power while the Email Caste literally used everything they had to steal the 2020 election.

Meanwhile the Email Caste... can't really do much about the Forgotten Caste rising up (which is taking the form of Right Wing National Populism in the US). What are they gonna do, post MORE news articles about how Biden is the most popular president ever? The Forgotten Caste don't believe them.

At the same time, no matter what the Email Caste does, they're stuck with the Forgotten Caste. No amount of angry emails from the Email Caste are going to cause Quinoa Salad and Organic Kale Smoothies to magically show up at the grocery store, you need store clerks and truckers and farmers to do that. Meanwhile, society could live just fine without a wall street exec, a journoactivist from one of our American Pravda institutions, or a Gender Studies Professor writing up another thesis on how to groom children. In other words, the Forgotten Caste has realized that there's a power discrepancy there, and the Email Caste's entire existence relies on them not realizing it. Or, to quote a political cartoon Google has memoryholed for wrongthink: "It has come to our attention that we are the only means you have to feed yourselves."

Well, yeah, squad goals and all that. But only they are allowed to make that change, damnit, Russia isn't allowed to play in THEIR sandbox! (I.e., Earth.)
You learn foreign slang fast animal. Thus you learn propaganda fast too. You haven't evolved.
