And that's why you Brokedick Farm Ayy-Lawgs are all wrong because there is only one objectively correct answer:
Water it is then.

The Brits are thinking long term here and saying the quiet part out loud. As things stands, Russia had the initiative this month because they got to choose when the war started. Now that they have failed to secure most of their pre war objectives, it would be foolish to insist Ukraine accept some sort of Russian offered peace deal at this juncture

The simple truth is Ukraine has no reason to end the war right now. Not when they are in a position to go on the offensive and their military is stronger now then it was at the start of this. Why should Ukraine accept peace if it means ceding a quarter of its territory along with Kherson and Mariople?

No, this war is going to continue. Russia is going to have to try and hold onto its gains first before peace is actually considered.
The decision whether to continue wasting the lives of soliders and civilians should be Ukraine's to make, not England's. Encouraging Zelensky to sacrifice heaps of his countrymen is no skin off Boris Johnson's teeth and is downright ghoulish.

All I know about belgian beer is my brother likes the flat tire stuff, never tried it though.
Really good Belgians are made in a similar manner to French wine, complete with an aging process. The informal term is "barley wine". A good Belgian Quadruple will have an alcohol content of 12 to 15%, without any of the bullshit hoppiness of the horror that is the English Swill called an IPA.

Ukraine can't do this without Western Support. The message was not so much towards Ukraine and Russia as it is to Britain's allies. The UK is saying they are not going to stop shipping shit to Ukraine so stop pressuring them to take a peace deal.

I take it from the half-hearted bait posting (@Suburban Bastard looking at you), bizarrely playful slap fights (all of us), and random anecdotal stories, no major updates to the war have happened?

Trying to see through this fog of war is more like looking through mud…
Pro-Russian perspective how I see it:
Right now there is a reshuffling and heavy reinforcement of Donbass front to deal with a major Ukrainian forces there. Couple of big fortified cities to clean up there. That will become a big thing soon, probably.
So we will be getting news of Ukrainian forces taking over villages and maybe some strategic points without Russian troops here and there. Mostly on the southern front, direction of Kiev.
Russian missiles keep shelling priority targets deep into Ukrainian territory every evening, but Ukrainians are forbidden from posting any information.

Any specific brands you recommend?

Well, the probable reason is that it is made by the same people, sorta. When Napoleon took all the priests' shit, they just moved to Belgium. And because you don't have enough grapes in Belgium to make a great wine, they opted to make a great beer instead.

Quoting the New York Times:
President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine said in his nightly speech that the country has removed two generals for being “antiheroes” who did not support their homeland. He did not give specifics. The generals worked for Ukraine’s Security Service, which is the country’s intelligence and law enforcement agency.
More proof that capeshit has infected Western society.

A look inside the mind of NPCs concerning this issue:

I just had a brief conversation (more verbal slap fight) with my grandparents about this whole situation, and it started when my grandfather compared Zelensky to Churchill. I brought up that Ukraine is a corrupt country and that everyone hated Zelensky over the Trump phone call until this happened, and both of my grandparents started yelling at me (my grandmother couldn't even pronounce Zelensky's name right). I brought up that no one cared about Ukraine until this whole situation popped off and supporting Ukraine became the Current Thing™. I got more yelling about bombing hospitals and people dying, so I just walked away before it could get worse. I feel like I shouldn't be surprised my grandparents acted like this; they both have a raging case of TDS because they watch MSNBC all day, and my grandfather genuinely believes that George Floyd was a poor abused victim who dindu nuffin.
Jesus dude, what's the fucking point with arguing with your grandparents about fucking politics? Just agree and move on like every sane person does.

the reasoning is solid on paper

the major question about it is how russia would react to ukraine making gains on the ground.
if russia makes the decision to cut its losses and pull its armies back, then boris strategy is solid and makes sense.
but if russia instead doubles down, starts drafting millions of men and kicks its economy into total war mode in order to send massive reinforcements into ukraine, then boris strategy would have backfired hard.

And sadly, Americans decided to emulate the Eternal Anglo when we started experimenting with microbrewing and going “fancy” — everything’s an IPA. :(

That UK article troubles me, because it feels less like the Brits care about Ukraine and her people and more about using Ukraine as a proxy war at all costs. Resume the Great Game! (except the Lion is too cowardly to fight the bear directly).

You cant fuck with NPC script by pointing out logical contradictions in their scripting.

They'll error and start bugging out.

That's one thing I've always found funny about protestants. A lot of them hate alcohol and think it's something incredibly sinful but historically, the best booze have always been made by monks. Hell, there are still some monasteries that stay afloat by selling beer, wine, mead.

And reporters would NEVER lie about things like this, right?
This is a retarded line of thought. No journalist is perfect but there are things you can do to validate the ones that are pretty good like I don't know, look at an establish track record of being correct? The "Journalist Bad" take is so braindead. I highly encourage anyone to move away from this autistic /r/TheDonald line of thinking.
