Not only are their “rules” racist and infantilizing of black people, they can’t even apply them evenly. You can’t criticize a black person for doing something stupid because apparently they don’t know any better, but if another black person escalates the issue you can’t criticize him either. And of course if non-black people just stop paying them any attention altogether (which is the only logical way to avoid accusations of racism when literally any commentary on a black person is perceived as racist), then we’d also be racist for ignoring their plight.
They literally just want people to hit the like button anytime a black person exists. Anything else is unacceptable to them.

Imagine being Will Smith. You were laughing at that damn joke anyway. But then the wife who cucks you, which is why you're roasted for being a cuck, gives you The Look. You have to Do Something. And that Something is the weakest slap I've ever seen in my life. Joan Crawford used to slap dudes in movies so hard you could see their face jiggle and then the shockwave would go down their shoulders.
But anyway you're Will Smith and you do some stupid shit. But it's shit that makes the Oscars momentarily relevant. So everyone involved has moved on. And being disciplined by the "Academy" is as far as this should go. Idiots claiming Will should be prosecuted are, well, idiots.

These are the people who aren't angry that this happened, they're angry that information has come out that makes their eternal hatred look like what it is - an eager dogpiling on acceptable targets. These are people who claim to hate the system, but show with their every reaction that they only hate that they're not on the top of it. These are the bullied who yearned to be bullies, who instead of learning anything else from the experience only developed a seething desire for revenge and an acceptable target to unleash it on.
Funnily enough, both the 'white girl gets accused of lying' and 'Will Smith slaps Chris Rock' stories are good examples of this. The first is a clear chance for them to unload on someone because they've transgressed, with extra helpings for the crime of being a young, white woman. A perfect target for ResetEra, never mind that young white women who've (apparently) lied for personal gain are the victims when they, say, make up a story of being gang-raped in a frat house and persuaded a Rolling Stone journalist to publish it without fact-checking. As always happens when the truth comes out about an outrageous story that turns out to be lies, you get a vocal minority who want accountability and who inevitably get banned, a quiet minority who sheepishly admit jumping the gun and say they'll do better but never do, and the rest mostly staying silent because bitch had it coming. After all, just because these stories turn out to be lies again and again and again doesn't mean their underlying biases and assumptions could be wrong, and anyway, it still happened to
Meanwhile, Will Smith slaps Chris Rock over a lame joke about his wife at the Oscars, and a lot of ResetEra posters have feelings about it but aren't sure which are the right ones. No obviously involved white people, all three involved are privileged black people, violence is bad but words are violence... so you get a lot of posters dealing with an actually intersectional issue - not in a bullshit identitarian way, just in certain moral priorities way. Which is where you see the king shit of the jannies, the black/'black' posters, but especially the black jannies. You think you know what you saw? No, you have to be told by your betters what really happened on that stage, and people like Nepenthe and Slayven then use classic bullying tactics to tell the rest of the forum what they should be thinking and feeling.
The posters want to dogpile on someone, but they can't decide which of the two men it should be (because Jada is a Black Woman and therefore everyone knows she can only be the victim, even though none of this would have happened if she hadn't decided to take personal offence and goaded Will into defending her). So they're reduced to either taking their marching orders of how to feel by 'black people' - aka Nepenthe, mostly, a wholly sane individual whose moral compass is unimpeachable, according to her - or being reminded that when the mob doesn't have an acceptable, single target, they're happy to focus on each other to satiate their need for sanctimonious hatred.
One shows how routine it is for the posters to fall into a two-minutes-hate, no matter how often they jump the gun, and how anyone who doesn't like it gets quickly weeded out. The other shows how even the slightest nuance to a two-minutes-hate means their mob loses coherency, which means because they've never actually fought the system, just fought their position in it, things revert to normal - where the loudest assholes with the most power to abuse will go about doing that.
I've said this before, but the Heathers TV show, where the bullies were meant to be the woke crowd, should have just copied wholesale from forums like ResetEra. For example they didn't even once have someone thank their bully for bullying them.

I haven't read the story or thread yet but it's kind of interesting how the wording of things works, typically a "director of racial equity" in an organization would be tasked with maintaining that diversity within the organization but here they are focused outward to demand it from everything else.

I did some reading on this woman, she wasn’t even raised by Native Americans. Instead she was adopted by a white family. Apparently her adoptive father molested her, and she began “discovering” her native identity in her 20s.
In other words, she’s basically a larper who adopted native identity to cope with her traumatic childhood, and now that’s all there is to her personality. She also doesn’t seem to be educated, so not only are her Native American credentials just CYOA nonsense, she doesn’t even seem to have the education or experience to be a “director of racial equity” (I guess you can argue that you don’t need any qualifications for a made up useless position).
Why is it that these equity trolls are always whitewashed larpers who have no real connection to the people or culture they claim to represent? Oh wait, that’s because normal people don’t care about any of this garbage and don’t spend all their energy thinking about all the ways white people wronged them.

Because people raised in these communities know their current culture is shit and want to change things internally, usually by returning to tradition. They don't sugarcoat it and they don't care what anyone else is doing.
My go-to example is the Washingtonian branch of the Nuu-chah-nulth and whaling. They campaigned hard and forced the NIMBY/Green Washingtonian state govt to let them kill and eat whales in the Sound, because America's generic high carb diet was making them obese. Instead of begging daddy govt for gibsmedat they demanded the ability to solve the problem without outside interference. Now they have the choice to live their traditional way (high fat/high protein diet, and intense physical exertion) and Greenpeace can't stop them from eating whales.
Similar story with Eskimos in many locations. They'd much prefer if white social activists fucked off and let them hunt seals in peace.
