In the season finale, when she can barely reach 20k an upload, she'll inevitably blame Wifey for not showing on camera, never having an iconic line as Destiny once did, "why did you eat 20 pc McNuggets?" The lack of side characters means we'll never get to see Amber's candid moments or how people interact with her. A glimpse of what her life is actually like, * cue "don't write on me!!!" clip or Eric shading her *
I believe what brought Amberlynn's channel into mainstream was Destiny. She was equally problematic although harmless as ALR.
Fast forward to Becky's era, there was Eric and Rickie; and Destiny and Dana stuck around. Becky wasn't as animated or extroverted as Destiny but hey, all the side characters made up for it. Eric throwing shade every now and then while showing us full-body shots of Amberlynn, Rickie just awkwardly confused all the time, Destiny just being Destiny, and Dana collecting her old clothes. It was a good time for us all.
And then the cancer diagnosis came and they moved to have their own place, away from Eric and Rickie, and Dana and Destiny. Everyone begged for a house tour for months and we never received one. We barely got to see the outside world at this point.
Here comes the break up and enter Wifey, Amber's viewer who somehow (literally) touched the cow in real life and got a roof over their head. She knows what is up. She knows the moment she's showed on camera, she will be dragged to filth by everyone. She will be the gag of the haydur nation regardless of how she is or how she presents herself, due to the simple fact that she is now associated with the Amberverse. She's smart in a way, getting free stuff and shelter from Amber without the repercussions the side characters are facing for the rest of their lives. However, just like the person said the other day, she just killed the cow.
No more Eric and Rickie, no more Dana and Destiny, no more Becky, and just an anonymous woman living with Amber.
It's a possibility that Wifey is playing Amber by convincing her to see first if the channel can survive without showing her. Or she promised her that she will eventually reveal herself, that she's just not ready. Wifey did indeed slide into Amber's DM's and swept her off her feet, after all.
IDK, as much as I hate the things Amber does, I hope she realize that the lack of side characters is massively damaging her channel. Also, I think I'm writing this block of text (apologies, btw) because I genuinely did enjoy those days when she was with the entire squad. It's sad that these days, when she hangs out with Eric and Rickie, they don't give her permission to vlog it anymore.
