I've said it before, but he can't have it both ways; these medications and surgeries are either "life saving" or they're not. And he's absolutely- albeit indirectly- making the case that they arent actually life-saving in these recent tweets.
If you throw suicide-inducing dysphoria out the window as unimportant (because you didnt experience it), then what exactly is "life saving" about the treatments you're demanding that the NHS magic out of thin air for you right this very second?
ETA: Also, if being trans is all about "the pursuit of happiness via self creation" as Olly asserts, then why are they trying to hold the NHS's feet to the fire about it. "Self-creation" means do it your own self, you absolute cabbage of a man.
I'm not British but I did live in the UK for a time and accessed the NHS. By Olly and co's logic, I should've been able to access any surgery or treatment available if it helped my self-image. I could've lobbied for free breast implants, maybe some botox or a baby face lift or something? (Because I honestly dont identify as someone who looks like they've had 8 children; nor do I identify as a person age 35 or above.) The NHS owes me, man.

I agree with you @AfghanBlue ....I actually truly believe that Olly is a curse to the Trans movement and as someone with a few trans friends....it really fucking annoys me, tbh. (I would ask one of said friends what they think about it, but none of them know what a Philosophy Tube is lol)

None of them are familiar with Abi- they're not really into YouTube. But after I saw this, and had my initial reaction, I showed the tweets to my two friends with a bit of context and asked what they thought. They were both pissed off; particularly my older friend who's been trans for 30+ years.

The only time I've seen anything like that was on artbreeder (a website) where someone uploaded a string of creepy low quality pictures of women's faces with the nose and mouth photoshopped into a vulva (all faces are AI generated by inheriting 'genes' from a previous one all the way back to an uploaded 'seed' for the AI and how I found it was going on a totally normal image and going back as far as I could on its family tree, it scared me).
