Star Trek - Space: The Final Frontier

IIRC because that klingon wanted to fuck Harry but Neelix saved Harry's honor and instead fucked her silly in Tuvok's quarters to the point she didn't want to leave.

Star Trek can be pretty weird sometimes.
It's canon that Vulcans have a far superior sense of smell than humans, so just imagine his face when he walked in and got a face full of Klingon quim musk mixed with Talaxian nut.

To be fair, dating Chakotay seems to have that effect on women. Seska decided that turning traitor and hanging around with the Kazon was preferable to continuing to be with him; Seven swearing off all men forever is pretty mild by comparison.
I guess Chakoty really sucks at a lady's man. In Picard I wonder if their show him being a old loser living by himself?

Reactions: Captain Syrup
So I saw this on reddit:

the actress that played young Guinan stated in an interview that she even asked that same question. So, since the future that they came back from was the Mirror Universe, that other Picard never traveled back in time and never met Guinan. It was as clear as mud since the actress herself didn't get it at first and a lot of people were asking about that online.

If that's true, then these writers are even more retarded than anyone could have possibly thought. Picard went back in time to before the divergence. Therefore at that point, his future self has and has not come back in time, its a superposition of his actions, which collapse when the divergence happens/doesn't happen. Except this makes no sense as the event is in the past, therefore it must have happened, and Guinan should have already known Picard.

Also, supposedly the 2024 is supposed to track Trek timeline, so that they're not in present day real Earth. 2024 Star Trek universe is on the path to World War III (it starts in 2026) and like only 30 years past the eugenics wars which killed tens of millions. So politically and socially, it's not current day Earth. If this is what the writers were thinking, then maybe some dialogue to explain to the audience this was the case would have been beneficial. It would only have taken a couple of lines before they left the ship.

"Remember, the eugenics wars occurred 30 years ago, tensions are high on Earth in the lead-up to WW3, x, and y are the things that will trigger it, we need to not alter the timeline, rather restore it so don't do anything to cause z.

I mean its not that fucking hard, yet these dipshits can't do it. I have to ask, isn't destroying the cultural legacy of a society a crime against humanity? If so, these fuckwits are clearly committing crimes against humanity. I demand they be put on trial in The Hague.

Awww, imagine thinking they care about unimportant things such as the plot. What matters is THE MESSAGE™. Destroy all timelines and consistency as long as it serves THE MESSAGE™.

Because they aren't trying. Its not actually being written by anyone, its being written by machine.

What matters is THE MESSAGE™
What message? Its not actually making a statement about any of the topics its bringing up. It just brings them up, then nothing happens. There is no message.

"Hey, remember Trump?"
"Yeah?"
...
"Were you going to say something about Trump? Maybe tell me Trump was bad?"
"Hey, remember climate change?"
"You think climate change is bad right?"
"Hey, remember Q?"

The only reason any of us think there's a message is because our minds are filling in the blanks, but if you pay attention, it doesn't say anything at all. It just pantomimes familiar things at you to poke your brain.

Joke is on them.

I'm not watching.

Seven x The Doctor forever.

Hypothetical Star Trek Episode: That Good Night.
Synopsis; The immortal hologram is dying. The Doctors holographic matrix - never designed to go trough what it has or function for as long as it has - is breaking down and is not repairable. The Doctor must now face the most human of all experiences. His own mortality.
Seven of Nine - living with him on Vulcan and working as a teacher at the Vulcan science academy - is distraught, saddened, emotional. Her students suffer.
Trough the episode the Doctor reflects on his own life, writes letters to his old friends, and tries to prepare Seven for his coming death.
At the episodes conclusion Seven joins the main crew as a respected - if strict - scientist director.
Brough to you by A Better World Productions.

I once made up 2 "headcanons":

1) Just TOS and TAS.

2) The official ST "canon" as it was when ENT ended, sans TAS.
I dunno. I barely consider most episodes of Voyager to be canon. Even Deep Space Nine was pushing it and I love that show the best.

And what was going on with the Stargate subplot in the past? I have questions.

There's that ancient joke that portions of TOS aren't canon because Kirk would make up silly stories to fuck with his superiors. The truth is though every Trek series has had its stupid or silly or just even boring episodes that people would rather forget about.
