I wait with bated breath for Twitter to close down in the future. Twitter has done nothing but bring schizos, retards, and degenerates to the forefront of the internet and give them a platform to make everything worse.

It all went down when the Tumblr mass migration happened. Also Facebook is way worse and that should close down first.

I maintain as good as the Internet is, it took the 1-2 crazy people you had in your town, and allowed them to connect with the other crazy peoples from other towns, and made them think their opinion was important or correct because they could suddenly find others sharing the same crazy ass opinion.

Twitter's problem is the sheer quantity of users means there's not only a decently-sized population of retarded people, but they're also likely to encounter each other - so no matter how many people dunk on them for saying stupid shit there'll also be people liking and retweeting their insane ramblings, making them think their opinion on the antics of the day actually matters.

But on topic, I'm listening to Mumei's stream right now. I wish she'd spend more time singing in earnest rather than doing the gimmicky noises, but it's still nice to hear her having fun. When she sings properly she has a beautiful singing voice.

Worth noting here that the Peko effect only lasted up to April last year, when Moona started crashing back to sub-1k viewers due to management pushing them to speak more Indonesian, and her avoidance of collabs (especially with Pekora) due to antis. She spent the second half of 2021 slowly clawing back viewers by grinding unarchived English karaoke.

If it wasn't for her Karaoke I would probably not even know about her.

Whilst I understand a vast majority of you don't watch male NIJI talent, did any of you happen to listen to Mysta's overview of his trip/offline collaboration with Nina, Vox and Ike? I knew the guy was unhinged and inept, but I didn't foresee it going to such levels of borderline lunacy. I'll provide the key bullet points, so you don't have to suffer listening to a sickly British voice.

• Arrived two hours early for his train and managed to bring the wrong paperwork to collect his tickets.
• Journey itself resulted in Mysta having to board four different trains. However three of them where within London's Overground and Underground system. Claimed it was extremely expensive. Naturally he was flooded with donations to cover these "extreme" fees. (At most, he had to pay £9 within London)
• Seeming cannot read the maps for either the Overground or Underground system, almost getting lost to the meet up point.
• Mysta unironically wore Techwear and budget "Sports Direct" gear to the meet up, which reaffirms my belief he is a the product of the wonderful council estate housing system.
• Nina wanted to explore quaint parts of London. Mysta, the Filipino Chav claims that "The UK has no culture but Football. Everything else is cringe."
• Despite being allergic to chocolate, ate it almost exclusively on the trip. Only time he had an actual meal was when the group ordered something in advance.
• On the first day, he went off on his own and avoided the group until his stream. Blames it on being introverted.
• Refused to show any pictures of the trip, as he feared someone would dox the location/s they visited.
• Second day, he went off on his own again to meet with an old friend. Gotta feel bad for Nina, Vox and Ike at this point.
• Intentionally got white girl wasted, so he could socialise and partake in karaoke in the evening with them. Complained about Nina's cocktail mixing skills.
• On his planned final day in London, seemingly lost his tickets and didn't know how to get a replacement.
• Had a mild panic attack at the station and his first nose bleed of the trip, decided to book a new hotel and hid away for a day to plan his journey out.
• Lied to Nina, Vox and Ike about his wellbeing as they departed. Seemingly got himself lost taking an afternoon stroll away from his newly rented hotel room.
• Called up Mika from Niji ID and begun crying on the phone to her.
• Didn't note down the new hotel he was staying at sent some poor taxi driver on a wild goose chase trying to find his place. Was abounded after the third hotel.
• Hotel is a branch chain (likely Premier Inn) and was able to direct him to the correct location.
• Calls up Mika from Niji ID again on the phone to try and calm himself down, has yet another nose bleed before puking up. Yes, she was on the phone listening to this man puke.
• He decides to diagnose himself based upon Google information.
• Security from the hotel is sent to check upon him, after seeing him covered in blood on CCTV.
• Mysta didn't tell anyone in Niji EN or management about his health situation. Mika Niji ID seemingly was the only one alerted until this stream.

Beyond that, he'd constantly singling out "one guy" comments and going on passive aggressive rants at chat, including fixating on his numbers and analytics. How does this guy have the second largest viewing demographic? If he could barely handle London, what hope does he have when Niji begin to push him towards more music or other Idol oriented ventures?

Mysta is a fucking mess. While it translates into funny/entertaining moments I worry that if left unchecked it could lead to serious irl problems. That said, it does seem that the other boys are aware and try to use kid gloves when dealing with him.

I personally dislike Twitch because the site fucking sucks unless you have REALLY good internet.
This comes from experience when I used to watch LOL Worlds at Twitch before they moved to other platforms.
Idk if they fixed or changed it, but I remember when non-partner streams used to be 1080p or just don't watch lmao. I also remember when 144p was still laggy as shit.

I personally prefer Youtube because it's a better experience for a variety of people.

Youtube is overall better for viewing but Twitch offers so much more when it comes to viewer interaction. Not sure why the fuck Youtube hasnt adapted some of those features, or why is it taking so long for them to do it. Mixer had the Youtube viewing experience and Twitch's viewer interaction and none of the thottery. Shame that they shut it the fuck down.

Nothing beats Twitch shoving ads in your face and you not being able to block them. Its cancerous.

Oh look, a terrible artist that's probably jealous and their only way to feel better about themself is to try to shit on someone who is better and more talented than they are.

Nina talked about how even before he debuted she would frequently ask Mysta on advice for what kinds of short videos and clickbait titles (Nina's pretty open about it being clickbait) would work well. That combined with some of his jokes which come off as obviously fake make me think that Mysta knows what kinds of things are popular. The "dumb British boy" thing is definitely popular. On the flip side I also think that dumb British boy shtick isn't entirely an act, and him basically getting money and attention for being the class clown may push him further down that path.

That being said, he also has also said some fairly mature things during his streams, like saying that people shouldn't self-diagnose mental illnesses (he mentioned this after saying that he has been professionally diagnosed with ADHD) and that if any of his fans who are depressed shouldn't donate to streamers because that's an easy way to end up in a parasocial relationship since that kinda happened to him. So he's self-aware, to a point.

Mysta does seem to know about clickbait and some of his humor is on purpose but some of the stupidity is legitimate and in some cases concerning.

I was under the impression that EN can do Home3D, it's just some of them, like Kiara chooses not to as they are waiting for an actual "debut". Calli was literally using it at her birthday totsu.
