I saw the satellite imagery the New York Times claims proves some bodies have been there since March 19th, which appears to include the guy who moved on camera, so huh . It covers a handful or so of bodies.

Not sure what to make of that, dead bodies in the street for 2 weeks should be getting eaten by birds if not larger scavengers, but that doesn't look to be the case.

There seems to be two main groups, a few guys lying in the street and the larger cluster of other bodies which bear more graphic signs of violence and look like they were carrying Russian rations and wearing white armbands in some cases.

No, Hitler was an incel loser who deliberately brought maximum destruction on his country while he was ragequitting, while at the same time encouraging little kids to go out and get shot for nothing. His main sidekicks were no better - Goebbels murdered his 5 daughters and committed suicide. Doenitz was forced to become Fuhrer for the purposes of signing Germany's surrender - no reason Hitler couldn't have done that months before (and saved millions of his people).

Sure, they were afraid of Soviet savagery. Probably should've thought of that before waging a genocidal war intended to kill half of Eastern Europe and enslave the other half, while the Wehrmacht and the SS went on a murdering, rapey rampage against random Slav villagers who had done nothing to them.

I personally find the fact the US refuses to investigate, the UK blocked Russia asking for a Security Countil emergency session twice and there is the video of a happy Ukrainean mayor saying life's good because all Russians left four days before the Ukraineans called genocide in his village to be pretty sus, but I'm Russian. I have a horse in this race and cannot be impartial by definition.

The timeline is as follows:

- March 30, Russians leave.
- March 31, the mayor records a happy happy joy joy video that the occupiers are gone
- April 2, Ukrainean army moves in
- April 4, the world is presented a bunch of suspiciously fresh corpses and told the Russians did it

Russia immediately starts clamoring for the Security Council emergency session and demands an investigation, England shoots it down twice. The non-emergency meeting will take place tomorrow at 14-00 GMT. Russians have cobbled together a bunch of alleged evidence that they say will prove their innocence but the court of public opinion has already pronounced its verdict.

For intergrity's sake, the US is claiming the Russians dug up a mass gtave next to the village church two weeks prior, but they only have satellite images.

With all my biases the only legit reason Russians could have massacred a village is if they took up arms. We even had aftermath footage of BTR wrecking people stationed in the woods with Molotov cocktails and guns. So there are filmed precedents. And the fact that Ukrainian government constantly encourages civilians to take up arms and resist while supplying with claims of Russian orcs raping babies doesn't help either.
But with all other stuff surrounding Bucha specifically, I don't think even that occurred. I find punitive action against collaborators most likely which is all the rage in an unoccupied Kiev.

I find it to be odd that they would supposedly kill civilians en masse for such ridiculous reasons when they've been avoiding totally flattening entire cities. If they well and truly didn't give a fuck about civilians or even were frothing at the mouth to exterminate Ukrainians, I don't see why they wouldn't have just leveled Koov as well as other cities. Adding to that, the Russian propaganda is told from a liberator's perspective rather than the perspective of someone trying to rid the world of a problem people (rather than ideology or religion), so it makes about as much sense as Assad gassing his own people that they'd orchestrate such actions. Top all that off with the deserved reputation Western media has as cum-remoras for government and I don't see why anyone would assume that they're even remotely telling the truth of it.

I don't give a shit about Russia or Ukraine in this conflict beyond the baseline interest of seeing if NATO gets involved. Which is another reason I'm skeptical - Zelensky has been squealing and crying for NATO involvement, there's a vested MIC interest in starting a major war (even if it's a proxy war with Russia, it'd still be profitable), and a lot of U.S. politicians - who are, again, upstream of the media and many would be compensated by the MIC in some way or another for gaining them profit - groping around for a reason to sell to the public for involvement and this looks like it could be yet another shot at trying to tug at the heart-strings of America to gain public approval for it.

I think at this point if you're pro-Ukraine, or pro-Russia to the extent of immediately accepting or dismissing claims you've taken the bait like a good, unthinking fish and aren't considering what's at stake here for both sides.
