Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Vic could cure cancer, end war, eliminate crime, erase racism and go to LGBTQ+ rallies and these parasites will still cry that he's doing it for clout. Meanwhile, the most activity these losers most likely achieved is either reaching for the nearest Dorito bag on their desk or getting up to take a shit in a worn out toilet.
They would say that Vic helping someone who has suicidal thoughts is "just doing it for clout" and that he "doesn't care about you"

Came across this on Twitter while looking up some Comicsgate shit.

Honestly, Anna is a costhot, so I'm pre-disposed to not like her. However, she's definitely got more going for her than @MarzGurl. Even leaving aside the (ahem) physical differences, I'd much rather slog through an Anna livestream than anything Marzy has ever done. Not that that's a tremendous compliment.

There's some pretty funny images in the replies.

I expect MarzGurl to block her as she and KickVic does whenever faced with any actual confrontation that isn’t an ISWV sperg

These people will continue to act like they won because Vic is blacklisted and is currently no longer working in anime dubbing.

Well that did happen but at what cost? What was the end result of you all winning that? Nothing positive for Funimation that’s for sure aside from the truth coming out that you all ignore.

This brand is already starting to dissolve after just one month. No turning back now.
Muse Asia literally releases the Director's Cut of S1 & all of S2 in subbed version (which RE:Zero is great in. Everyone knows that Muse Asia is known to have much better subs than now defunct Funi & specially CR. Apart from a few dubtards such as Benjamin Oscar, BT, & the retards at AnimeDubs, no one would give a shit about this.

This may have just be a sort of competition uprising by CR to compete with Muse Asia & Ani-One.

This pic makes marzgirl looks like a beaver.

"Literally no one seems to be able to say what he actually did over there." Everyone knows what he did there, you people are just delusional. Even if he did take pics, all of you would just go and shout about clout. Unlike your ilk, he did stuff to help, not spend all day bragging and seeking clout.

And nothing of value was lost. So how long do you guys think this will last til they just give up and go with just subs?

What's funny is that I archived the Funimation YouTube channel yesterday after noticing there hadn't been any uploads in 3 weeks:

Next day? Boom! Rebrand:

That's terminally online thinking. Dubs will exist as long as there are television blocks like Toonami that will air them.
May not be as profitable as it once was but it is a platform to be utilized. That's the reality of the situation.

Remember, Vic matched his plane ticket in a donation AND went over to help.
Wow a whole $50, Putin on suicide watch.
That explains the weird trainwreck its second season was. Yeah Gen Lock was always a 3rd rate "gaijin tries to make mecha anime" but holy shit this dumpster fire seemed like a special suicide button. Spoilered for Islamic Content.
Gen Lock? Moar like DEGEN Lock.

Funimation: still DEAD
PULL: still DEAD

All that virtue signaling, all that wokeness, all that listening and believing bullshit could not prevent the inevitable. Well, can't say I feel bad, because I honestly don't.

I love how all these parasites are boasting about how Vic has been marked for life thanks to this fiasco, but meanwhile their precious brand is being scrubbed off the entertainment industry before their eyes. For someone who lost the case, Vic is looking more of a winner than Rial, Marchi, Toye, Funimation and their idiot fans who wanted to see him dead.

Agreed. Most of the "known" voice actors (by known, I mean less forgettable ones) are most likely going to keep their job. The ones who are going to get the pink slip are the assistants, maintenance people, sound guys, engineers, PR guys, ADR directors, and voice actors who either just started or are largely unknown. When a merge happens, these are usually the ones who are cut loose from employment.

It's crazy to think that over three years ago, Funimation was on top of the anime world with that Broly movie. Everything after that was all downhill and they have no one to blame but themselves for this.

It wasn't just the Broly movie. Sony started buying up other anime distributors like Madman and was throwing them under Funimation's umbrella in 2019. NEVER did I think Crunchyroll - a streaming service, no less - would have more name value than the brand that dominated the North American market for over 15 years. I never saw that coming!
