Dubs are probably the majority of anime people watch even outside of TV. The production cost of a dub anime is higher, so they wouldn't exist to the degree they do if the "sub snobs" were the majority. They're just loudmouths. In the 90s, dubbed anime was actually cheaper on VHS because they made up the increased production costs with higher volume sales. Dubs are now on streaming services and physical media and I don't see them going anywhere anytime soon. Too many people don't want to read their media.
Also, let's not forget, I don't think there would have been an ISWV if people didn't give a shit about dubs. Not every anime fan is Digibro who tries to hand wave away Vic because he's just a "dub actor" (thank God).

I think the problem with this industry is similar to the problems with comic books or video games or any other nerd-centric industry in the US. The people working inside it get bloated notions of self importance from non-stop fart sniffing from cons, social media simps, shitty fake hack media like ANN, etc. to the point that eventually they begin to think they know better than the consumers do and that they are the ones who deserve all the attention and accolades. In this case, they don't even actually make the core product the consumers buy, they just re-package it, which makes it even more like a straight-up service industry.
However, certain precious people here don't view their selves as working in a service industry, so instead of doing what a normal service industry would do when the consumers got angry about their bullshit, they told them to go fuck themselves for being uppity to their supposed superiors. "Know your place, serfs! Don't like our employees/contractors acting like scumfucks or our shitty "localization?" Tough shit!"
The hilarious outcome here is the Funi crew was probably extremely self-assured in their continued position as the big fish in the small pond thanks to all the fart sniffing, but then comes in this huge mega corporation with no soul whose main concern is creating a profit for investors and it immediately strips out their entire brand name and company history that these niche industry twats and their pathetic fart sniffing simps invested so much into. Nope, you were only another widget in a mega-corp's portfolio of widgets, and when there was more than one anime widget, redundancies were eliminated. You were NOT as important as you thought you were.

It's PULL. What we call cows, they called "problematic persons." They had a very specific mindset. What do you expect?
I've heard that PULL was actually a pretty reasonable site when it first started, and had cordial relations with the Farms. It wasn't terribly dissimilar to KF, if KF were a matriarchy.
After most of majority female userbase migrated here (something Null is proud of), I think all that was left was the fat crazy bitches that think ResetERA gives good takes on things. It didn't surprise me in the slightest that @MarzGurl felt more comfortable there than here. Nor is it surprising all the chicks they complained about were at least good looking. It was a trash site frequently by retarded cat ladies and gross fujoshis (but I repeat myself). Nothing of value was lost.
